"Wu-Tang: An America Saga" may be bidding fans farewell after an impressive three-season run, each full of exciting hip-hop misadventures, but the story isn't ending without one last mind-blowing lap. The hit biopic drama, which made its splashy debut back in 2019, kicked off its third and final season on Hulu on Feb. 15, jumping to Wu-Tang Clan's wild success years after the big basement flood that almost ruined their solo albums. As the crew try to ride out their five-year plan - orchestrated by leader Bobby, aka RZA (Ashton Sanders) - the downsides of money, power, and fame test their will to stick together.
Fans of "Wu-Tang: An America Saga" are certainly sad to see the imaginative, truth-inspired hip-hop series come to an end, but the cast - which includes Sanders, Shameik Moore (Sha Raider/Raekwon), Siddiq Saunderson (Dennis Coles/Ghostface Killah), Tj Atoms (Ol' Dirty Bastard), Dave East (Method Man...

Thirty years into a career as one of the best R&b artists of her generation — Rock & Roll Hall of Fame honors or not — Mary J. Blige continues to challenge herself and her fans. It’s hard to think of any peers from her early-Nineties peak, whether it’s the “queen of Christmas” Mariah Carey or the under-appreciated Brandy, who would eagerly collaborate with the likes of Fivio Foreign, the hard-edged New York drill act currently making headlines for his protests against Hot 97’s censorious ban on “violent” diss raps.

Think of Snoop Dogg’s The Algorithm as good housekeeping. Even legendary brands like Def Jam occasionally need revitalization. The label may be decades removed from its late Nineties renaissance when giants like Jay-Z, Dmx, and Ja Rule ruled the universe. It’s more than just a trademark at the bottom of a Justin Bieber album.

“Wu-Tang: An American Saga” has been renewed for Season 3 at Hulu, which will also be the show’s last.
The news comes just over one week after the finale of Season 2 of the show, which is based on the true story of the pioneering rap group. The show is also inspired by the books “The Wu-Tang Manual” and “Tao of Wu,” both of which were co-authored by RZA, a founding member of The Wu-Tang Clan.
Set in early ’90s New York at the height of the crack cocaine epidemic, the show tracks the Clan’s formation, a vision of Bobby Diggs aka The RZA, who strives to unite a dozen young, black men that are torn between music and crime but eventually rise to become the unlikeliest of American success stories.

Beat-makers dream of instant success. But the first time the producer Paul Couture sent instrumentals to the veteran rapper Max B, the feedback he received was tepid. “Max didn’t like anything, none of it,” Couture says. At the time, “I was working on a reggae album, a pop album, and it was like, ‘hey if you have some beats for Max, send ’em.’ I just sent what I had without thinking about it.” The rapper’s reaction: “You know, Paul, that just ain’t it.”
Couture asked for a second chance.

In a recent day-in-the-life video with Vogue, Megan Thee Stallion casually revealed two fun facts about herself: 1. she's a huge horror fan, and 2. she's working on a horror flick of her own. The "Big Ole Freak" rapper didn't give any further details on when we'd officially be able to flock to theaters to see the film in question, but it looks like she's already made some headway in the genre. Megan is currently the star of her own horror series on YouTube, and when I tell you it is Quality entertainment, I really mean it.
The show is titled Megan Thee Stallion, P.I. in Hottieween, and according to a description in one video, it was created and produced in partnership with YouTube Music. Rapper Megan Thee Stallion has launched a promotional series on her YouTube channel that seeks to get the "Hot Girl Summer" songstress into the Halloween spirit.
Dubbed Megan Thee Stallion P.I. In: Hottieween, the YouTube Music-produced horror trilogy was conceived by Megan herself, whose real name is Megan Pete. In the series, Pete plays a private investigator in Stallion County, which is haunted by “vampire f-ccbois,” according to YouTube, amid a murder investigation that cops are bungling. Pete and her fellow hotties seek to reclaim female independence and “boss through life by carrying the weight of their own self-motivated values” -- though she does at one point become distracted by a smooth-talking playboy portrayed by rapper Dave East.
The series was directed by fellow artist Teyana Taylor and draws inspiration from campy horror classics and blaxploitation heroines. The series features appearances from fellow rappers Dave East and J. Cole,...
