“How can a short, blond actor with the rough face of a professional boxer and a penchant for playing villains, killers, cranks, and cads pull off the role of a tall, dark, handsome, and suave secret agent?”
So asks the front page of the website Daniel Craig is Not Bond, one of many fan-sites launched in the wake of the actor getting cast as James Bond for Casino Royale back in 2005. Nearly two decades later, the question seems laughable, as Craig elevated the franchise into something rich and emotionally dense, touching on qualities the series rarely attempted.
The 20/20 hindsight about Craig’s tenure comes in handy with the escalating rumors that Eon Productions have offered Aaron Taylor-Johnson the Bond role. On paper, Taylor-Johnson seems like the safe choice, a conventionally handsome white Englishman, a veteran of big-budget movies such as Avengers: Age of Ultron, Godzilla, and Tenet.

The search for the next 007 might be nearing its end, and to fans’ dismay, Henry Cavill might not be the one to fill Daniel Craig’s shoes in the next iteration of the British Spy. Per new reports, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who was previously rumored to be one of the frontrunners alongside Cavill, has been offered to take over the mantle for the next James Bond film.
While not everyone is enthralled by this report, as many felt Cavill was the superior option for the role, the Kick-Ass Star’s performance in the 2022 action thriller proves why he is perfect for Bond.

Remember Bullet Train? It was a fun summer action/adventure film that had an all-star cast, including Oscar-winner Brad Pitt. The 2022 film is about an assassin whose given a mission that’s deemed simple. Of course, the entire mission goes awry as lethal adversaries from around the globe are on a collision course for chaos and bloodshed. It all takes place on the world’s fastest train. Despite Pitt’s charm and the incredible fight choreography, the standouts in the David Leitch movie were Tangerine (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Lemon (Bryan Tyree Henry), Aka The Twins. The two hitmen had an interesting backstory and...

The words offbeat, personal and edgy used to be a draw for movie fare — we’d check out a new relationship picture based only on an actor or two that we liked. Bobby Roth’s semi-autobiographical buddy story has a good stab at the early ’80s art + singles scene in Los Angeles, with a dash of macho clichés — pals Peter Coyote and Nick Mancuso fight in public and somehow suffer while bedding fantastic women. But the overall vibe is one of honest sensitivity, aided by fine performances from Carole Laure, Kathryn Harrold and Carol Wayne. Plus music by Tangerine Dream.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been acting since he was 6 years old, but he managed to create a bond on the set of Bullet Train that he’s never had before with another actor. In the David Leitch and Brad Pitt-led action-comedy, Taylor-Johnson plays Tangerine, who’s one half of an assassin duo known as The Twins. The other half, Lemon, is played by Brian Tyree Henry, and the two actors quickly developed a rapport that supports their fraternal relationship on screen.
“We just hit it off straight away. [Brian Tyree Henry] is just a beautiful person and a good, good friend. I really care for him,” Taylor-Johnson tells The Hollywood Reporter. “So everything that you see in the movie is really just us going way off the page and improvising.”

When Brian Tyree Henry punched his ticket for Sony’s “Bullet Train,” he instantly realized that this movie would be a ride unlike any other.
The film follows Brad Pitt’s unlucky assassin, codenamed “Ladybug” as he aims to complete a snatch-and-grab job that goes completely off the rails as he fights off an ever-growing number of fellow assassins with their own agendas.
“I really had not seen a story like this in quite some time, with such crazy characters in such crazy circumstances, all trying to kill each other on a train,” Henry told Variety over Zoom in late July, shortly before the movie’s debut. “I had always dreamt of being a part of something like that.”
The ensemble cast is populated with mysterious and nefarious characters, including his “Atlanta” co-star Zazie Beetz as “The Hornet” and Bad Bunny as “The Wolf.” Henry plays Lemon, a blonde-haired, British...

"Bullet Train" is packed with so much fast-paced chaos, you might have missed the sneaky Percy Jackson Easter egg hidden in its script. The action movie features a slew of codenamed assassins, including Ladybug (Brad Pitt), Lemon (Brian Tyree Henry), Tangerine (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), The Prince (Joey King), The Wolf (Bad Bunny), and The Hornet (Zazie Beetz). One of the few non-murderous characters aboard the high-speed train across Japan is The Son, portrayed by a long-haired, tattoo-covered Logan Lerman. Yep, this is where the Percy Jackson reference comes into play.
The son of Russian crime lord White Death, Lerman's character is being escorted to Kyoto by dynamic duo Lemon and Tangerine. The former has a love for the animated series "Thomas & Friends," often comparing its humanoid trains to the personality traits of those he crosses paths with. Upon meeting The Son, Lemon quips that he's similar to Percy,...
