- Daniel Hunt wrote and directed The Tragedy of Federico Garcia Lorca , That Happy Feeling!, The Passion of Henrik Ibsen, (Broadway Theatre, London), Electra (translation) (Courtyard Theatre, London), The Adventures of Royston Cockfosters (Greenwich Playhouse, London), Giaus & Drusilla (Norwich Playhouse) and Here Goes (Bowery Studio, New York).
- A competent piano/keyboards player and portrait artist.
- As a Voice-Over artist he has provided the voice of Boris Karloff for a reworking if 'The Monster Mash' on BBC's 'The One Show' and 'GMTV' (ITV).
- He was bestowed a special International Niace/First Direct Drama Teaching and Directing Award for excellence in January 2017, for his work in the UK and US.
- In March 2019 he was the featured guest on Paul Hayes radio show, 'Hayes Hosts' , selecting 6 of his chosen music tracks on BBC Radio Norfolk.
- He was awarded a second Niace Award for directing in April 2019.
- Has a brilliant ear for accents and is an accomplished mimic. He has worked as a voice-over artist providing vocal impressions of Richard Burton, Ian McKellen, Boris Karloff, Noel Coward, Alfred Hitchcock, Alec Guinness, Kenny Everett, Robin Day, WC Fields, Zippy, George and Johnny Mathis etc.
- Is a big fan of the Marx Brothers, especially Groucho.
- Star sign: Taurus.
- He is a very competent portrait artist finding the process of sketching personally therapeutic.
