Yasser Hareb , is prominent Emarati writer, columnist, TV Presenter and a Producer, from Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). He is the CEO and founder of Genomedia Studios, producing shows such as Moment and Al Sadeem, the first science documentary series of their kind in the Middle East.
In 2006, Hareb published his first book Towards a New Thinking and since has written his best sellers: Picaso and Starbucks in 2011, The New Slaves in 2013, and Take Off Your Shoes in 2015 with a foreword by Paulo Coelho.
A Columnist since 2004, Hareb contributes regularly to various newspapers in the Middle East including Al Bayan (UAE), Gulf News (UAE), Al Sharq (Saudi Arabia), El-Watan (Egypt) and many others.
Since 2016, Yasser Hareb presents the annual TV program Moment, a documentary-style program based on science and technology and airs during the month of Ramadan. The program showcases the latest in health, science and technological developments and presents viewers with practical solutions on a global and personal level.
In November 2019, taking the Arab World in a whole new TV drama series, Yasser Hareb produced the largest drama Project, Kingdoms of Fire (Mamalik AL Nar), Filmed in Tunisia and directed by British Director Peter Webber and Alejandro Toledo, the 15-episode drama series of 50 minutes each is a historical drama that took place between Egypt, Syria and the Ottoman empire between the 15th and the 16th century. Stars in the first episodes of the historical drama include Khaled Al-Nabawi, Mahmoud Nasr, Kinda Hanna, Rashid Assaf, and Mona Wassef.
