Scott Flaherty(I)
- Music Department
Scott Flaherty is perhaps best known for providing Austin Butler's primary vocal training for the titular role in Baz Luhrmann's Oscar nominated biopic ELVIS. First contacted in 2019 at the recommendation of Vanessa Hudgens, Scott began his work with Austin while the actor was still in the audition process for the film. Endeavoring to present a vocally and musically authentic presentation of Elvis Presley, their work together, which continued up to the recording sessions in Nashville and Memphis, provided the vocal/musical foundation for an acclaimed performance that was Oscar and Screen Actor's Guild nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role and winner of the Golden Globes Award and BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in addition to a slew of other nominations and awards.
