Tyson Fury is to record and release a cover of the Neil Diamond song “Sweet Caroline” in partnership with the mental-health charity Talk Club.
The song, originally released in 1969, has become a staple singalong at boxing events in the UK, and it grew even more popular during the England football team’s run to the final of Euro 2020 last summer.
Fury’s version is due to be released on 11 November, 10 days before England begin their World Cup campaign in Qatar.
Wbc heavyweight champion Fury, who is known to sing in the ring after his fights, said: “Sweet Caroline is a record I’ve always loved and I’m excited to record and release it.

Netflix has announced that a multi-part documentary on heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury is in the works.
Fury announced in April that he would not fight again as a professional, moments after his knockout of fellow Briton Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium.
Fury, 33, had also suggested in the lead-up to that Wbc title defence that he might not compete again after the seismic fight, which took place in front of 94,000 fans in London, but the “Gypsy King” is yet to relinquish his belt.
Now a potential clash between Fury and fellow title holder Oleksandr Usyk is on the cards, with the goal being to crown an undisputed heavyweight champion.
The unbeaten Fury’s apparent indecisiveness around retirement looks set to be a subject of Netflix’s upcoming ‘docu-series’.
“News: Netflix is in production on a multipart documentary with global boxing star Tyson Fury!” the streaming service’s UK account tweeted on Wednesday.

Piers Morgan is being called out for hypocrisy over comments he made about boxer Anthony Joshua.
On Saturday (20 August), Joshua was defeated by Oleksandr Usyk in their world heavyweight title rematch in Saudi Arabia. After, he stormed out of the ring before returning to deliver a “bizarre” speech.
The world of sport and entertainment have been commenting on Joshua’s post-match behaviour.
Morgan wrote on Twitter after the match had ended: “Embarrassing antics at the end by Joshua. He was beaten by a superior fighter who put on a magnificent performance of highly-skilled, supremely resilient boxing.”
However, many are pointing out that Morgan did something similar in March 2021.
Morgan made headlines after he stormed off Good Morning Britain when co-star Alex Beresford condemned his comments about Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
“He just did what you did tho???” one of Morgan’s followers wrote, with another adding: “Must...

It isn’t just the big UFC 278 fight that’s happening tonight: boxing fans are in for a titanic rematch this weekend, with Anthony Joshua looking to reclaim the unified heavyweight championship from Oleksandr Usyk.
