Rajisha Vijayan

Rajisha Vijayan is an Indian actress known for her work in Malayalam and Tamil films. Born in Kozhikode, Kerala, Vijayan graduated from Amity University in Noida with a degree in Mass Communication and Journalism.
Before beginning her acting journey, Vijayan hosted Susi's Code, a music chat show, and Ugram Ujwalam, a talent show. She debuted in the film industry with a lead role in the Malayalam romantic comedy Anuraga Karikkin Vellam (2016). The film received positive reviews, and Vijayan's performance earned her the Best Actress accolade at the Kerala State Film Awards.
She next appeared in the action-comedy Georgettan's Pooram (2017). Rajisha's acting was praised even though the film itself was not able to leave much of a mark on critics. Her next venture was Oru Cinemakkaran (2017).
Vijayan then appeared in a lead role in Ahammed Khabeer's coming-of-age romantic comedy, June (2019). The film was a commercial success and earned excellent reviews for its simplicity and earnestness. Vijayan was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the SIIMA Awards. She appeared in Finals (2019) and Stand Up (2019) in the same year.
In 2020, Vijayan featured in only one film, Love (2020), a black comedy psychological thriller, for which she received the Best Actress in a Leading Role nomination at the SIIMA Awards. She next made her Tamil debut in 2021 with the movie Karnan (2021). The movie was a huge success, and she was nominated for Best Debutant Actress at the SIIMA Awards.
Her subsequent releases include the Malayalam films Kho Kho (2021) and Ellam Sheriyakum (2021). She also did her second Tamil film Jai Bhim (2021), in the same year, receiving a SIIMA nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
In the year 2022, Vijayan appeared in five films: Freedom Fight (2022), Keedam (2022), Malayankunju (2022), Sardar (2022) and Rama Rao on Duty (2022), which marked her debut in Telugu cinema.
Her next release was Lovefully Yours Veda (2023), a romantic drama film, and Pakalum Paathiravum (2023), an action thriller.
