It’s been a few years since Bill Adams has worked as an extra. At 85, he doesn’t get called as much as he used to.
But for the last three months, he has commuted to the picket lines from his home in Long Beach about once a week.
“I’m just tired of the multinational greed,” he said, on a break from walking outside the Overland gate at Sony Pictures Entertainment in Culver City on Friday. “That almost goes without saying. That’s what it comes down to.”
The SAG-AFTRA strike is now in its 85th day. The issues remain the same as they were on Day 1 — streaming residuals, the use of artificial intelligence, and increases in minimum rates to keep pace with inflation — among dozens of lesser known concerns.

Spare parts of high school comedies from “Peggy Sue Got Married” to “Mean Girls” and beyond have been torn asunder, then sewn back together to create “Senior Year.” In other words, this vehicle for producer-star Rebel Wilson isn’t organic even as a genre homage; its Frankensteinian assemblage always feels more imitative than inspired. Nonetheless, if Alex Hardcastle’s effortfully high-spirited Netflix feature isn’t exactly good, it’s still .

A couple times during the fourth and final season of 13 Reasons Why, the football team mentions someone named Beecher in passing. When they're trying to figure out where to have the Find Your Drink party, someone says Beecher's parents found out, so he can't host the party. And on the senior camping trip, someone mentions that Beecher is missing. And if you're wondering who actually is Beecher, we can help you. Beecher is a real character, but his role is so small that if you blink, you'll miss it.
The answer is in the senior camping trip episode, which is in episode four, "Senior Camping Trip." All the Liberty High seniors set out into the woods on a scavenger hunt, not realizing that someone has tampered with the clues and set everyone up to be messed with. The students all get separated, leading to Clay (Dylan Minnette) falling in a hole and getting trapped.

13 Reasons Why Season 4 arrives on Netflix in one week, and the streamer has dropped a new sneak peak.
The clip involves Winston (Deaken Bluman) trying to get answers from Ani (Grace Saif) following Monty's death.
"Tell me what really happened and I swear to you I'll never mention it again, to anyone," he sais to a clearly shocked Ani.
"Just tell me what really happened."
Unfortunately for Winston, Ani has the best poker face out there, and gives him the following response:
"I don't know."
It's an awkward scene, for sure, and Winston leaves with the following:
"Why lie to me? What good does that do?"
Indeed, there would be no show if these teenagers told the truth.
Through three seasons, we've had a suicide, an almost school shooting, sexual assault, and murder.
It's been an exhausting series, and with us heading into the final season, there has to be some consequences for the characters.

Will Clay Jensen be the first character to crack following the cover-up of Bryce's murder?
Netflix on Wednesday dropped the official trailer for 13 Reasons Why Season 4, and we have our mystery for the final season.
During the show's third season, fans witnessed most of the characters save Alex from the law to pin the murder of Bryce on Monty.
Unfortunately for Monty, he did not get to plead his innocence because he was brutally murdered while in jail.
But fear not, it looks like justice could be served.
Winston, who slept with Monty on multiple occasions, knows the truth, and the trailer confirms that he is not going to let the teenagers get away with what they did.
Indeed, the teenagers are greeted with writing on the wall that seems to allude that Bryce was not murdered by Monty.

Monty was framed.
Those are the damning words spray painted onto doors at Liberty High in the final season of “13 Reasons Why” that set the final season’s drama in action, as revealed in the official trailer Netflix released Wednesday.

But now it appears someone out there is not Ok with him taking the fall for that particular crime.

Get ready to bust out your cassette tape player for a breath of nostalgia: The fourth and final season of “13 Reasons Why” will launch June 5, Netflix announced Monday.
In the final season, Liberty High School’s senior class is preparing for graduation, but of course before they can actually say goodbye to each other and their school, they will have to keep a dangerous secret buried, as well as face “heartbreaking choices” that may impact their futures forever.

Amazon Prime Video’s Tales from the Loop is a sci-fi series set in an idyllic alternate history rife with robots and wonderment.
Tales from the Loop, an Amazon Prime Video sci-fi series, brandishes a motif centered on curiosity and awe against a pastoral backdrop that – complemented by its focus on kid protagonists – seems intent on tapping into the retro-1980s genre vein that has fueled Netflix’s Stranger Things to phenomenal success.
The series, headlined by Rebecca Hall, comes from rather original source material in the fantastical paintings of Swedish artist Simon Stålenhag. Nathaniel Halpern is the credited creator of Tales from the Loop, on which he also serves as writer. The director’s chair is occupied by Mark Romanek, who helmed an array of iconic music videos from the 1990s, as well as Robin Williams’s creepy turn in 2002 film One Hour Photo and the ultimately-unfruitful 2011 Locke & Key TV pilot.
