But in “Bono: Stories of Surrender,” the handsomely shot black-and-white film that’s been made of the U2 frontman’s 2022 solo stage show, we watch as Bono tells the story of his life and takes us inside his ambition, his passion, his celebrity, his charity, and his family demons. And while...

U2’s Bono is seen as a successor to a very small fraternity of world-conquering rock stars – the likes of Springsteen, Jagger and Bowie. He’s less recognized as a successor to a literary tradition: the Irish pantheon of Joyce, Yeats, Beckett, Heaney, and O’Brien.

The Rolling Stones frontman actually proposed “two or three years” ago, but Hamrick only just confirmed their engagement in an interview with Paris Match. She also added that they have no concrete plans for a wedding. “Maybe one day we’ll marry, maybe not. We are so happy in our current life that I would be too afraid to change anything,” she explained.

Jagger, 81, and Hamrick, 37, have been together since 2014 and share a son, Deveraux, who was born in 2016. Hamrick, a choreographer and former ballerina, first met Jagger while he was on tour with The Rolling Stones.

Jagger was previously married once, to Bianca Jagger from 1971 to 1978, with whom he shares one child. He also has children with Marsha Hunt, Jerry Hall, and Luciana Gimenez Morad.

Carole D’Andrea, who portrayed the Jet girl Velma in the original 1957 Broadway production of West Side Story and then in the classic 1961 film, has died. She was 87.

D’Andrea died March 11 of heart failure at her home in Santa Monica, her daughter Andrea Doven told The Hollywood Reporter.

She was married to Tony winner and Mad Men star Robert Morse from 1961 until their 1981 divorce.

However, before announcing the winner, Jagger joked that he was the second choice for the category as Oscar producers originally asked Bob Dylan to attend. “The producers wanted Bob Dylan to do it, but Bob didn’t want to,” Jagger said before mock-quoting Dylan. “The best songs this year are obviously in A Complete Unknown.’ You should find somebody younger.’ Ok, I’m younger than Bob! So here I am.”

As it turns out, Jagger was being serious. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dylan was asked to present and perform during the ceremony but turned down the offer.

A cold-blooded murder took place in Port Charles. It remains unsolved, and the Pcpd is not even trying to find out who did it. John Cates (Adam J. Harrington) was a terrible person (which was a shame because the old Jagger wasn’t). The way he was torturing Kristina (Kate Mansi) was unconscionable, but that doesn’t mean it is ok to shoot him at point-blank range, which is exactly what Sonny (Maurice Benard) did.

The Pcpd arrested Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for the crime, and she actually went to prison but was eventually released because she was innocent. Then, the whole matter was dropped. It’s almost as if it never happened. Sonny got away with murder, and it wasn’t the first time.

The Teen Mom star welcomed his first child with his fiancée, Amanda Conner.

Ryan announced the news in a post on his Facebook page Wednesday night.

Ryan included two photos in the post and shared his daughter’s name and measurements.

“Baby Presley was born on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 6:15 a.m., weighing 7 lbs., 3 oz. and measuring 20 in.,” he began his caption. “Today is the day we welcomed our gift from God, Presley Sage Elianna Edwards. We are truly blessed to welcome this beautiful healthy baby girl into our family.”

“We have worked so hard to reach our goals and build a new life with all of our children,” Ryan continued. “We are looking forward to being a healthy happy family and are just deeply thankful for everyone’s love and support.”

“It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of the singer, songwriter and actress Marianne Faithfull,” the statement reads (via the BBC).

“Marianne passed away peacefully in London today, in the company of her loving family. She will be dearly missed.”

No official cause of death was given, but Faithfull’s health problems have been well documented through the years.

Marianne Faithfull, the British singer who scored hits including “As Tears Go By” and “Broken English” as she went from a highly publicized romantic relationship with Mick Jagger to worldwide fame in her own right, died Thursday. She was 78.
