In his new action film Geostorm, Gerard Butler plays a scientist fighting to save the world from storms of epic proportions, namely for the safety of his young daughter.

While Butler doesn’t have any children of his own, the actor, 47, tells People in this week’s issue that he’d like to become a father in the not too distant future.

“In five years I want to be in a relationship,” Butler says. “I’d love to have one or two kids — it’s about time.”

Gerard Butler was taken to hospital following a motorcycle accident earlier this month, Et has learned.

According to a source, the 47-year-old actor was riding his motorcycle in Los Angeles, California, when he was allegedly cut off by another vehicle, causing him to crash.

The insider says that after paramedics arrived at the scene, Butler was taken to hospital and treated for cuts and bruises. He did not break any bones in the crash.

Butler’s new film, Geostorm, is released in theaters on Friday and the source says his scheduled press tour for the film will go ahead as planned.

The former couple, who announced their split 10 months ago after 11 years together, appeared to be all smiles as they helped Sasha cut his birthday cake in a photo shared to Schreiber’s Instagram account.

“Happy Birthday Big Boy!,” the 49-year-old Ray Donovan captioned the family shot. “Finally hit the double digits!”

Watts, 48, also wished Sasha a happy birthday on Instagram — sharing a shot of the blonde-haired boy while on their recent trip to Africa.

“Happy Birthday to this beautiful boy,” she wrote in the picture’s caption.

It looks like things may be heating up again between Gerard Butler and Morgan Brown.

The actor and his on-again, off-again flame Brown were photographed on the beach in Tulum, Mexico, on Friday. Clad in red-and-blue swim trunks, Butler, 47, and Brown — showing off her toned body in an orange bikini — splashed around in the waves while sharing a seemingly intimate dynamic.

The Scottish 300 star and interior designer were first linked about two and a half years ago, with a source close to Butler telling People in November that “they split some time ago.”

In pics obtained by Daily Mail, Butler sports striped swim trunks, while Brown shows off her incredibly toned body in an orange bikini. The two cozy up on the beach while Brown adjusts her beau's trunks, before both heading into the ocean. 

Butler and Morgan first started dating in 2014, and were off-and-on for a couple years before apparently calling it quits in 2016.

The pair reconnected earlier this year, however, and clearly still have affection for each other.

Et caught up with Butler last year, who promised to post plenty of shirtless selfies on his then-newly created Instagram account.

The actress, who’s starring in Netflix’s Gypsy, opened up about the split in a recent interview with Vogue Australia, saying that her relationship with Schreiber has continued to remain amicable.
