Macy Scarlett Armstrong is a Canadian filmmaker. She graduated from the Etobicoke School of the Arts' competitive film program in 2016, before enrolling at the University of Toronto in a History and Cinema Studies degree. Her short films have premiered across Canada in festivals such as the Victoria International Film Festival, and in countries including England, Ukraine, the United States, Italy, and Hungary. Since 2017, Armstrong has been a prominent publicist at GAT Productions Inc., working on films by auteurs such as Gaspar Noe, Werner Herzog and Fernando Meirelles. Additionally, Armstrong is a Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) Next Wave alum.
