The X Factor 2015: Everything you need to know including the judges, airdates and rumours
The X Factor is well and truly under way, and we've been keeping an eye on everything that's been going on...

When is The X Factor on TV?

The show kicked off on August 29 - and in fact, in an attempt to avoid any clashes with Strictly Come Dancing, ITV bosses have unveiled the full schedule right from the off, so we know everything that's coming. You can get a proper look at it here, but auditions continued until Saturday, September 19 with Boot Camp kicking off on September 20. That was the first of five boot camp shows - two set in a country house, and then three episodes of the dreaded Six Chair Challenge. They were all on Sundays, to avoid the Rugby World Cup, but then Judges' Houses aired on October 24 and October 25... and the first big live show will kick off on October 31. And the grand final? It's set for Sunday,...

X Factor: Louisa Johnson, Lauren Murray and Kiera Weathers are Rita Ora's final Girls

The X Factor has finally picked its Top 12! After months of auditions and Boot Camp and the Six Chair Challenge, the Girls were the final category to perform at Judges' Houses for their judge Rita Ora (and mentor Meghan Trainor).

And boy, did they perform. So if you want to relive all the action from tonight's show, check out the auditions below:

1. Chloe Paige

Chloe did get a little respect from Rita... but sadly not enough to put her in the live shows.

2. Havva Rebke

Possibly not the best move to sing about going home. We still love you though, Havva.

3. Kiera Weathers

'Show Me Love', Kiera asked... and sure enough, Rita did.

4. Lauren Murray

We're not saying the Best part of Lauren's performance was her dancing to herself in the studio.

X Factor: Louisa Johnson, Lauren Murray and Kiera Weathers are Rita Ora's final Girls
Louisa Johnson, Lauren Murray and Kiera Weathers have been chosen by Rita Ora as her final three Girls on The X Factor.

The 'I Will Never Let You Down' singer had to let down Chloe Paige, Havva Rebke and Monica Michael on tonight's show (October 25).

The X Factor 2015: Relive all the Girls' Judges' Houses performances

Ora and her guest judge Meghan Trainor struggled to narrow down the category after six emotional performances in Los Angeles.

The former Voice UK star said that confirming her choices live was difficult, as all six girls were good enough to have progressed.

The first girl chosen was Louisa and she was soon joined by Lauren.

X Factor: Nick Grimshaw sends Mason Noise, Che Chesterman and Seann Miley Moore to live shows

Simon Cowell found it impossible to choose which of the remaining girls should progress, telling Ora to "go with your gut...

The X Factor 2015: Which Girls will make it through Judges' Houses? - Live blog
The X Factor might have kicked off Judges' Houses last night in a two-and-a-half hour extravaganza - but there's still some work to be done. While Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini can sit back and relax, there are still two categories yet to be decided.

That's right: Nick Grimshaw still needs to choose his Top 6 Boys, and we'll also see the Girls performing for Rita Ora and Meghan Trainor in an attempt to make it through to the live shows. It's going to get intense, people.

Of course, anything could happen - who knows if Simon will suddenly introduce a wildcard twist (*cough* Jennifer *cough*)? So join us from 7.30pm when the show kicks off and we'll bring you all the action...

20:56For now, though, we'll say good night - do keep leaving your comments and stick with DS for all the X Factor coverage you need. And Obviously...

Mackenzie Crook a victim of skinny-shaming
'The X Factor's Chloe Paige has compared the Six Chair Challenge to being in a gladiator battle. The 21-year-old beauty - who is competing as part of Rita Ora's Girls category on the show - has confessed she found the famously brutal stage of the competition to be even worse than she'd imagined. She explained: ''I've never felt so much physical anxiety. I was exhausted for about nine days afterwards. What you see on TV isn't half of what really goes on. I went to watch the boys the day after our auditions and there were people booing and calling them boring.

The X Factor Girls take a Hollywood selfie: See them performing at Judges' Houses
It had to be done, didn't it? The X Factor Top 6 Girls flew to Los Angeles to perform for Rita Ora and special guest mentor Meghan Trainor... but they still had some time for a selfie at the Hollywood sign. Let's just hope their minds were firmly on a place in the live shows:

1. Chloe Paige - 21, Brighton

Who? Market trader Chloe performed 'Crying For No Reason' in her first audition, but it was later on in the competition that she really began to come into her own - with her a capalla take on 'Amazing Grace' cementing her place in the Top 6.

She says: "For me, it's so much more than just the voice. It's all I do, it's all I work on. I was in a relationship that I gave up for this, so I know where I want to be."

2. Havva Rebke - 21, Enfield

Who? Havva -...

The X Factor 2015: Chloe Paige gave up a relationship to be on the show
The X Factor's Chloe Paige has revealed that she ended a relationship to be in the competition.

The 21-year-old market trader won a place in Rita Ora's Girls category at the Six Chair Challenge and admitted that music is the main focus of her life.

"I have a clear direction of where I want to go as an artist, and ideas as to who I want to be," she said. "For me, it's so much more than just the voice.

"It's all I do, it's all I work on. I was in a relationship that I gave up for this, so I know where I want to be."

But Chloe revealed that she has gained a new friendship thanks to The X Factor.

"I've bonded a lot with Havva [Rebke] - we talk most days," she said. "Her mum even asked me to move in with them. It would...

Ché Chesterman receives a standing ovation from all four judges following his soulful performance during the Six Chair Challenge on Sunday night's X Factor.

The Essex-born hopeful sings a rendition of 'It's a Man's World', prompting Cheryl Fernandez-Versini to get on her feet and high-five Nick Grimshaw - who will have to decide whether or not to give Ché a seat and take him through to Judges' Houses.

This is the second of three Six Chair Challenge episodes, following last weekend's emotional show which saw Monica Michael, Lauren Murray, Louisa Johnson, Keira Weathers, Chloe Paige and Havva Rebke secure places in the Judges' Houses stage with mentor Rita Ora.

The other singers competing for a place in Grimshaw's Boys category are Ben Clarke, Brodie Kelly, Danny Sharples, Jamie Eldridge, Jordan Luke Gage, Josh Daniel, Martin Harich, Mason Noise, Nathaneal Landskroner, Ollie Marland, Papasidero, Seann Miley Moore, Simon Lynch,...

X Factor's Lauren on Nick Grimshaw: "I don't know why people are giving him such a hard time"
X Factor's Lauren Murray - who secured a seat in the Six Chair Challenge on last night's show - has defended Nick Grimshaw and insists he will come into his own now he's been assigned the Boys' category.

The 25-year-old Dental receptionist from North London - currently in Rita Ora's impressive Girls' category - opined to Digital Spy: "I feel like everyone's giving Nick [Grimshaw] a really hard time.

"And I feel like Nick is such an influential person in music - he knows what people listen to, he works in radio so he knows what people are going to buy. So I don't know why people are giving him such a hard time.

"But when it comes to the Live Shows - people will see a different side to him. People need to give him a bit more of a chance. I love him, he's wicked.

X Factor's Lauren Murray on the Six Chair Challenge: "I think they should get rid of it next year"
Lauren Murray secured a seat in the Girls Category during the "brutal" Six Chair Challenge in last night's nerve-wracking X Factor.

The 25-year-old hopeful from North West London performed on stage last, concerning judge Simon Cowell when she admitted to feeling a bit fuzzy, before mentor Rita Ora eventually swapped her with a distraught Lucy Duffield.

Speaking to Digital Spy about the "killer" experience, she revealed: "It was just so brutal. It was literally The Hunger Games.

"I never in my life want to see six white chairs again. Ever. It was just killer. It's so, so intense. I thought at one point I was going to be sick. I really did. I knew because I had a bit of a dip at Boot Camp, I knew if I didn't bring it at Six Chairs I'd be going home."

On the stage being far more terrifying than anything she endured during Boot Camp,...

The X Factor 2015 Six Chair Challenge review: It's brutal - but at least the talent is good
The X Factor has been described as "gladiatorial" for years, which Simon Cowell seemed to take as a compliment. What else would account for the introduction of the Six Chair Challenge, surely the most brutal stage of any talent competition out there?

We can't think of a more intimidating arena in which the acts could possibly perform, fighting not just for their spot in the Top Six but also facing the rowdiest of crowds, ready to boo and ruthlessly boot you out of a chair if they think someone is better.

Imagine being an act who has overcome the nerves and won a seat, only to see the audience thrusting their fingers up in the air to indicate that actually they want rid of you?

This series' first Six Chair Challenge - focusing on Rita Ora and her Girls category - was just that brutal, leaving us feeling emotionally exhausted after two hours of cheers,...

Firstly, there were a lot of people who thought the Six Chair Challenge was a bit mean:

I wouldn't give her a chair if she was pregnant And elderly. #xfactor

The X Factor Six Chair Challenge: Chloe Paige wows with a capella 'Amazing Grace'
The X Factor's Six Chair Challenge is probably the toughest part of the audition process, but it looks like Chloe Paige could have bagged herself a place in the final.

In the hugely talented category, her a Capella performance of 'Amazing Grace' was a big risk, but it paid off.

Nick Grimshaw admitted he couldn't remember her from her previous auditions, but he wouldn't forget her again after her performance.

Simon Cowell said she didn't just deserve a seat in the Six Chair Challenge, but that the performance deserved a place in the live shows.

Despite being a bit concerned about her stage presence, mentor Rita Ora gave her a seat.

The X Factor continues the Six Chair Challenge next Sunday (October 11) at 7pm on ITV.

The X Factor 2015: Sunday's Six Chair Challenge video round-up - Relive the Girls' auditions
Rita Ora might want to be careful what she wishes for. The X Factor newbie was thrilled to get the girls... only to find out that cutting down such a talented category was really rather difficult.

If you've recovered from the trauma of it all, you can relive all the performances right here, ranked - as always - from worst to best:

14. Kelly Mai Webb

She sounds better than we do when we're stumbling drunk out of a tent and going for a walk. But still not good enough for The X Factor.

13. Chloe Baker

"You've got the love I need to see me through"... but sadly not to the next round.

12. Katie Coleman

'The Voice Within' couldn't quite take her to Judges' Houses.

11. Sharon Rose

Sharon Rose and fell... but we thought her performance of 'Let It Go' was lovely.

10. Karen Mav

At least she got a consolation...

The X Factor 2015: Who are Rita Ora's Top 6 Girls? The full list is here
The X Factor knows how to test its contestants, doesn't it? But after an emotionally exhausting Six Chair Challenge, Rita Ora has narrowed down her Girls category and picked the acts who will make it to Judges' Houses. But who are they?

1. Chloe Paige

Age: 21

From: Brighton

Job: Market trader

Remind me: Chloe won over the judges with her rendition of 'Crying For No Reason' at her audition (but some viewers were less than impressed to see her wearing a bindi). She was on the up from then, as Simon Cowell picked her out for special praise during the Boot Camp group challenge and even praised her husky voice during the solo performance when she was suffering from a sore throat. But it was her stunning a capella rendition of 'Amazing Grace' at the Six Chair Challenge that really put her on the map - and Simon suggested she even...
