After all these years, Dungeons & Dragons is still going strong.
Many celebrities are well known for playing Dungeons & Dragons, including Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodrigeuz, Whil Wheaton and even Blindspots’s Ashley Johnson.
Now many more celebrities will get their chance to wield a sword, to cast a spell, or rather to roll some dice.
The first episode of CelebriD&D has premiered this week with a 45-minute episode featuring Joe Manganiello (True Blood, Magic Mike Xxl), who admitted playing D&D since his childhood days.
He joins Geek & Sundry’s Critical Role cast members Matthew Mercer, Marisha Ray, Taliesin Jaffe, along with Nerdist’s Dan Casey and Jessica Chobot in this exciting battle between good and evil.
Manganiello plays Arkhan “The Cruel” in this D&D game. Ironically, he is a paladin and a worshipper of Tiamat. So fitting of him.
