Exclusive: Zero Gravity Management has expanded with the addition of Mia Cho as a Talent Manager, Maritza Cabrera as a Talent/Literary Manager and Producer, and Leyla Kader Dahm and Ayisha Taylor as Literary Managers.

The company has also bolstered its Below-The-Line Management Team with the additions of Matt Dipaolo (formerly of APA) focusing on Line Producers, VFX, Editors, and department heads transitioning into Directing; Allison Irvin (formerly of WME) focusing on Cinematographers, Production Designers, Costume Designers and Editors; Martijn Hostetler (formerly of Innovative) focusing on Commercials, Music Videos and Branded Content; and Diana Massaband, a former Corporate Attorney focusing on Spanish-speaking and Diverse department heads. These new team members join Ajay Ghosh and Alex Franklin, who launched the department in 2019.

Zero Gravity has also promoted William Deasey to Director of Development, upping Emma Puglia to Literary Department Coordinator.

Ultra Violet & Blue Demon is coming soon to the Disney Channel. The cable channel has ordered the action-comedy series which stars Mexican wrestler Blue Demon Jr. and Scarlett Estevez as superheroes. The series follows middle-schooler Violet (Estevez) as she becomes a superhero in the footsteps of her uncle, Blue Demon (Demon Jr.). Together, the pair fight crime. Others in the cast include Marianna Burelli, Juan Alfonso, Brandon Rossel, Zelia Ankrum, and Bryan Blanco.

Disney Channel has given a series order to Ultra Violet & Blue Demon, a superhero coming-of-age luchador action-comedy from a girl’s point of view, starring Mexican luchador and professional wrestler Blue Demon Jr. as a version of himself and Scarlett Estevez (Bunk’d) as Ultra Violet. The project had received a cast-contingent pilot order in January 2020, and now has received a formal series greenlight. The series, which introduces a relatable Mexican American family with a very special legacy, will showcase a predominately Latinx main cast and producing team.

The series unfolds as a magical luchador mask selects 13-year-old Violet (Estevez) to become Ultra, the superhero successor to her uncle, who is the famous Mexican wrestler Blue Demon Jr. and a superhero-in-disguise. What's new with Disney Channel? Recently, the network announced they've ordered a new TV show called Fast Layne.The live-action comedy follows Layne (Sophie Pollono), an ambitious 12-year-old who "finds her orderly life thrown into a tailspin when she discovers a sophisticated talking car named "V.I.N." hidden in an abandoned shed."
