Snoop Dogg will be bringing his talents to Paris this summer, joining NBC as a Special Correspondent for its coverage of the 2024 Summer Olympics.
The move was announced on NBC and Peacock during halftime of Sunday Night Football, with a “Snoop Year’s Eve” promo featuring Snoop Dogg alongside Team USA athletes Suni Lee, A’ja Wilson, Jagger Eaton, Kelly Cheng, and Sara Hughes.
Beginning on July 26th, 2024, Snoop Dogg will join NBC Olympics host Mike Tirico to add his own special commentary on daily events. “He’ll explore the city’s iconic landmarks, attend Olympic competitions and events, and visit with the athletes, their friends and families,” NBC stated in a press release, via People.
In his own statement, Snoop Dogg promised to bring his own “Snoop style to the mix” in the city of love. “I grew up watching the Olympics and am thrilled to see the incredible athletes bring their A-game to Paris.
