The first film set Layne Marie ever worked on was Tim Burton's "Big Fish." She played an extra in the big circus scene when she was a little girl when filming took place in her hometown Montgomery, AL. Layne Marie's entire family played extras in the movie and it served to be a pivotal experience for her decision to become a film director.
