Andrew Rea's elaborate takes on cuisine from movies, TV shows, video games, and other pieces of media are now coming to your kitchen. Rea, the chef behind the YouTube channel Binging With Babish, has released a cookbook called Eat What You Watch, which has scored big sales on Amazon in its first day of availability.
Eat What You Watch combines some recipes Rea has already cooked up for his YouTube subscribers -- who number more than 1.5 million in all -- with others that he has not yet shared with the viewing public. In his book, beyond dishing on his dishes, Rea also punctuates his write-ups with commentary about Goodfellas, Moonlight, Amelie, and all the other great films that have made it into his literary debut "It features some of the favorite recipes from the show as well as endearing tributes to the great moments of food in movies," he...

Ever wanted to make movie theater popcorn the hard way? No one has, but for the sake of saying you did it, you should definitely do so because it looks delicious. You can see for yourself in this latest video of Binging With Babish in which Andrew Rea does just that in addition to making some Raisinets (which don't turn out so well).
Check out the painstaking process that went into both items below, and let us know if you make any movie theater snacks homemade!

Remember that super cool looking treat from Grand Budapest Hotel? To be frank, it's one of the few things I remember from the film as I attempted to watch it when I was way too tired to jump into such an artsy and presumably wonderful film. Those of you who remember it more fondly can see Andrew Rea make it below, and attempt to make it yourself. I suggest you do because it looks pretty damn delicious! ...

Andrew Rea has really been killing it with taking the foods from our favorite movies and showing us how to make them in real life. Now, he's tackling the world of video games and he honestly could not have started it off in a better way by tackling The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild. Watch him make risotto and baked apples the same way Link does, and then travel back to his kitchen to make a Durian flavored monster cake...read more on GameTyrant

Binging With Babish has been one of the breakout web series of the past year, and host Andrew Rea is now sharing his work in literary form. On Tuesday, Rea took a quick break from his latest pop culture recipe to announce that his first cookbook, Eat What You Watch: A Cookbook for Movie Lovers, is now available for preorder.
Eat What You Watch will feature 40 recipes that recreate iconic food items from both famous films and cult favorites. On his channel, Rea has already cooked up many well-known silver screen eats, including Pulp Fiction’s Big Kahuna Burger and Ratatouille’s titular dish. His book will be entirely film-focused, even though his channel often features recipes from TV shows and other media. His latest video, in which he announces Eat What You Watch, features a collection of culinary fare adapted from the video game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Andrew Rea has hit a million subscribers with his Binging With Babish series, and it's probably thanks in part to us sharing his stuff all the time. That trend continues today as the food artist recreates a dish from a hilarious Saturday Night Live sketch you're going to enjoy. Check out the Taco Town taco...which was previously thought to be impossible to make, created below:

In the latest episode of Binging with Babish, host Andrew Rea shows us how to bake the chocolate cake from Danny DeVito's 1996 movie Matilda. If you remember the movie, though, you'll recall that blood and sweat were two ingredients that went into making the cake in the film, and never one to shy away from the movie's version of a food he's trying to replicate, Rea actually puts real blood and sweat into his cake. As good as the final product looks, I was still pretty grossed out.

The Spongebob Squarepants Krabby Patty is perhaps the most appetizing cartoon food I've ever seen, so you can imagine my joy when I saw Andrew Rea created an at-home version of the burger for you to enjoy! By the way, thanks to all of our posting and your watching Rea was able to make this his full-time job! It's always cool to see someone make their dream a reality with the help of others. Congrats Andrew! Check out the video below. ...

I think it’s safe to say that any day Andrew Rea comes out with a new episode on Youtube channel “Binging with Babish” is a good day. But when he decided to take on the show Seinfeld I knew it would be a special day. And Rea decided to go after one of the best episodes ever in “The Soup Nazi.” Here’s Rea’s interpretation of his video and the show: Perhaps one of the most delicious food plots of the 90s, or any decade for that matter, hails from a lesser-known sitcom called ‘Seinfeld’. This scrappy little American comedy featured

So far in his series, Andrew Rea has made some pretty feasible meals. Homer Simpson's moon waffles though? It's impossible to make them the way Homer makes them. Despite that, Rea does Homer's method (and it looks disgusting) but then also does them in a way that actually would recreate the waffles in the real world and they look glorious! Check out the process in the video below along with a video of the way that Homer makes them.

Binging with Babish is back! This time Andrew Rea is taking on The Simpsons and teaching us to make Homer Simpson’s legendary Moon Waffles. While there are a number of recipes to choose from with regard to legendary Simpsons concoctions I think that Rea has got himself off on the right footing with this selection. Here’s the video descripton on Rea’s Youtube channel. Homer Simpson revels in combining food and drink with wild abandon: every liquor in the house set aflame with cough syrup, skittles floating in beer, tomatoes cross-bred with tobacco. Few, however, are as heartbreakingly realistic as the

The latest episode of Binging with Babish is live, and this time, host Andrew Rea teaches us how to make Chef's Chocolate Salty Balls from South Park. (Yes, yes, cue the jokes.) After realizing that the show's recipe leaves a little to be desired, Rea adds his own ingredients and improves things, like any good chef should. Then, as an added bonus, Rea shows us how to make Cartman's famous chili — minus the Tenorman family, of course. And Then, as if that weren't enough, he shows us how to make Randy Marsh's breakfast frittata (complete with crème fraîche). Nice work!

In what’s become easily one of my top five favorite Youtube channels “Binging with Babish” is back with another hearty food lesson. This time Andrew Rea created a special called “The Foods of South Park.” South Park is home to a surprising number of tempting foodstuffs. Granted, they’re all subtly gross in one way or another, but that doesn’t make Chef’s Chocolate Salty Balls sound any less appealing. Especially when it’s being sung at you by Isaac Hayes. And isn’t just the chef’s foods either. Don’t forget about Cartman’s Mr. & Mrs. Tenorman chili. I just wish they would have

I've had to write Szechuan more times this week than I can count. It's all thanks to Rick And Morty, who with their Season 3 sneak preview mentioned the sauce that was once part of the McDonald's lineup during a promotion for Mulan. While the fast food giant has indicated they're interested in bringing the sauce back, it's not quick enough for the world of the internet and we need stuff now! Luckily, guys like Andrew Rea were quick to make a video so that you can make the sauce at home.
Full disclosure, he doesn't know what the sauce tastes like...but neither do I so how do we know what we're missing? ...

No movie has made kids, or adults for that matter, more interested in eating their vegetables than Pixar’s Ratatouille. But trying to translate the enticing animated dishes from the film into actual recipes you can recreate at home is no easy task. More likely than not, you’ll end up with a plate of food that looks like it was prepared by a rat, and not even a Patton Oswalt-voiced one. Well, thanks to Andrew Rea, the man behind the YouTube cooking show Binging With Babish, you can now make Ratatouille’s titular dish without the assistance of a sentient rodent.
As Rea notes, the dish from the film is not actually a traditional ratatouille but is a variation on the dish called confit byaldi. Combining a simple bell pepper sauce and thinly sliced vegetables, nothing in the recipe is overly complicated. But with the right presentation, this...

Andrew Rea has been a celebrity of sorts on the site lately with his movie and television inspired dishes that look amazing! Today, he hits us with a topic we've covered in the past, but somehow manages to beat Pixar at their own game! His method not only looks easier than Pixar's, but the final result looks more appetizing as well. Side note, I did not know you're supposed to remove the charred bits of peppers and that's probably why my roasted peppers suck.

Anyone who has watched more than one of Quentin Tarantino’s films knows about the Big Kahuna Burger. But, for those who don’t happen to be fans of the filmmaker or simply have not paid enough attention, this is a fictional chain of Hawaiian-themed fast food restaurants that have appeared in at least four of Tarantino’s movies: “Death Proof,” “Four Rooms,” “Pulp Fiction” and “Reservoir Dogs.”
Tarantino also included this fictional burger joint in the script of his 1996’s Robert Rodriguez–directed film “From Dusk Till Dawn”.

Do you remember the Big Kahuna Burger from Pulp Fiction? You're probably more familiar with the scene in which Jules Winnfield goes on a crazy monologue in the apartment and then kills a guy. That burger Jules ate? That's what we're talking about here!
I might just be hungry, but that looks like a pretty damn tasty burger. If you're thinking the same and want to cook it, check out this video from Andrew Rea as he recreates the burger from the film! Master it and you'll be able to eat it anytime you want...even if your girlfriend is a vegetarian.

YouTuber Andrew Rea has a cooking web show called Binging with Babish in which he recreates meals from movies and TV shows, and one of his most recent entries finds him making the ridiculous pasta that Will Ferrell's character Buddy consumes in Jon Favreau's modern holiday classic, Elf. The video goes really well...until the moment of truth finally comes along:
