Charly Black, the dancehall singer whose “Gyal You a Party Animal” became an international hit in 2016, released “Tiralo Pa Ka” on Thursday. The track is a collaboration with both Play-n-Skillz — who are best known for rap hits (Chamillionaire’s “Ridin'”) but have also worked heavily in Latin music (Daddy Yankee, Yandel) — and DJ Kass, whose “Scooby Doo Pa Pa” single was inescapable for the majority of 2018. “Tiralo Pa Ka” is racing and bare-bones, with a keening siren that ratchets up tension. The beat is fierce and repetitive; Black’s melodies...

Adam Rippon, Josh Norman, and Tonya Harding went toe to toe in a dance-off for the Mirrorball trophy on Dancing With the Stars: Athletes Season 26 Episode 4.
Honestly, I thought the shortened, blink and you missed it, season would be more fun, but it's actually been exhausting, and I'm not even dancing.
However, I enjoyed the lack of filler. I'd prefer to get straight to the dancing, and that's what this abbreviated season did. On the downside, there were definitely dancers I wish had gotten more of a chance to grow, especially Arike Ogunbowale.

Although many fans were outraged by last week's ouster of figure skater Mirai Nigasu, I have to say that I loved this final three. Every dance blew me away, except for one ... and that one shocked me.
So let's get on with the dancing!

Not to oversell it, but Adam Rippon’s freestyle on Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars: Athletes” finale won’t be like any one you’ve seen the past 25 seasons. At least according to Jenna Johnson. “I think we’re gonna do something no one’s really seen on the show before for our freestyle,” she teased to “Entertainment Tonight.”
Is she just being hyperbolic? Probably. But couples’ freestyles have gotten increasingly packed with bells and whistles since the show allowed supersized freestyles in the all-star 15th season. You can add extra dancers and a bunch of high-tech gadgetry that it’s become more about putting on the biggest show than dancing. Remember the early years when it was just the couple dancing? Sigh.

“O” on ice is better than “O” in the ballroom. On Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars: Athletes,” Adam Rippon performed to Coldplay’s “O,” which just so happened to have been his free skate music the past two years. Coincidence? We think not. While his contemporary routine with Jenna Johnson earned a 39, 57 percent of our readers prefer the Olympic bronze medalist’s figure skating routine.
That certainly makes sense — figure skating, after all, is Rippon’s day job and the thing he’s best at. He literally started learning how to dance a month ago. And frankly, it’s not a fair fight, since free skates are four minutes long compared to the paltry 90 seconds he got on “Dancing.” Throw in a bunch of triple lutzes and triple loops and it’s a Tko.
See Could Tonya Harding make the ‘Dancing with the Stars: Athletes’ final two — and win!

The one-hour finale of “Dancing with the Stars: Athletes” is on Monday, May 21 and will air live beginning at 7 p.m. Ct/8 p.m. Et. The three sports stars still in the running – Olympic figure skaters Tonya Harding and Adam Rippon as well as NFL player Josh Norman — will each take to the dance floor twice during a jam-packed 60-minute show.
Their first dance will be inspired by their time on “DWTS.” Harding and her partner Sasha Farber will glide through a Viennese Waltz set to the song “The Time of My Life” by David Cook. Norman and his partner Sharna Burgess will dance the foxtrot to the tune “Conqueror,” which was recorded by Estelle with Jussie Smollett from the cast of the Fox drama “Empire.” And Rippon and his partner Jenna Johnson will perform a jazz number set to the Irving Berlin standard “Anything You Can Do” from the...
