5 Things We Learned From the Leaked 10-Minute ‘Kung Fury 2’ Footage
Image
Sometimes the world hands you lemons, and sometimes it hands you Arnold Schwarzenegger riding a dinosaur while fighting Nazis. Now, you might be wondering where this ridiculous yet oddly entertaining notion sprouted from. Well, some films make you think. Some make you cry. And then there’s Kung Fury 2: a cinematic roundhouse kick to the brain that cares little for permission, logic, or linear storytelling.

It’s been a long decade of radio silence since this neon-soaked fever dream, helmed by David Sandberg, vanished into a labyrinth of lawsuits. But now, thanks to a leaked 10-minute footage, the chaos has been unleashed… and it’s even more unhinged than anyone expected.

Note that the footage was mysteriously uploaded by an anonymous YouTube user. Variety confirmed its legitimacy, and director-star David Sandberg admitted it contains unfinished VFX and spoilers. But who cares? Here are five things we have learned from this mind-melting preview.

Masters Of The Universe Movie Set Photos Reveal Camila Mendes As Teela
Image
"Bumblebee" director Travis Knight is helming a new "Masters of the Universe" movie, which will see a young Prince Adam, aka He-Man (Nicholas Galitzine), embrace the Power of Grayskull and clash with the villainous Skeletor (Jared Leto) to save his home planet, Eternia, from pure evil and doom. What's more, the noble warrior will team up with Teela, played by "Riverdale" star Camila Mendes, as she also wants to protect her world from the skull-faced sorcerer.

After photos emerged revealing Galitzine as Prince Adam on the set of "Masters of the Universe," Deuxmoi's Instagram has released a bunch of images of Mendes in action as Teela. Some of the snaps show her filming some scenes for the movie, while others see her hanging out with Galitzine behind the scenes. We will have to wait until the film arrives to fully understand the context of Mendes running through the streets, but...

Masters Of The Universe is finally – finally! – getting a Blu-ray release
Dolph Lundgren
Dolph Lundgren’s take on He-Man finally comes to Blu-ray, as 1987’s Masters Of The Universe heads to the format in the UK this month.

Well about time. By the power of Grayskull, or the tenacity of 88 Films, the 1987 big screen take on Masters Of The Universe is finally coming to Blu-ray.

The movie wasn’t a success when it was released in cinemas – that’s no understatement – and reviewers were hardly on the kind side. Yet the film has endured, with Dolph Lundgren’s personification of He-Man the current definitive cinematic take on the character. Several attempts have been made to get another Masters Of The Universe film going since, and remarkably, it’s going to take until 2026 to do so.

The 1987 version though – already something of an enduring cult hit – is now set to find a slightly bigger audience with a proper physical media release. The Deluxe Collector...

Masters Of The Universe Set Photos Feature First Look At Camila Mendes In Costume As Teela
Image
As filming on the live-action Masters of the Universe movie continues in London, these latest photos and a video from the set give us a first glimpse of Camila Mendes in full costume as Teela.

The Riverdale star was spotted shooting several scenes (including an action sequence) with Nicholas Galitzine, who is in Prince Adam mode here. We assume Teela comes to Earth to bring the amnesiac Adam back to his home world of Eternia, where he will fulfil his destiny as He-Man.

Teela has been a permanent fixture of the Motu franchise ever since those first mini-comics, and is usually depicted as Prince Adam's protector and He-Man's right-hand woman/love-interest.

The character was played by Chelsea Field in the previous live-action movie, and was voiced by Sarah Michelle Gellar in Netflix's Masters of the Universe: Revelation animated series before being replaced by Melissa Benoist.

Teela has donned a...

4 reasons Conan O'Brien’s Mark Twain Prize Night is a must-watch comedy event
Image
Conan O'Brien has had quite a career. Even though he has hosted a late-night show on one of the original three big networks, he always seemed like one of us. He was seemingly lucky to have what he got, and he knew it.

But he was also always more talented than he let on, and others knew it. Adam Sandler confessed at March's Mark Twain Prize ceremony (the 2025 prize went to O'Brien) that when O'Brien was writing for Saturday Night Live, he was always "quicker" and "funnier" than everyone else. The thread running from Conan's days working on The Simpsons to his current podcast is humor, and lots of it.

One of the best parts about the Mark Twain Prize this year is that Netflix viewers can now watch it on their favorite streamer. There are moments of oddness, but several of pure hilarious entertainment. Here are four of the best.

"My Part Is Done": 'Masters of the Universe' Star Teases Her Mysterious Role in the Live-Action Movie [Exclusive]
Image
Venerable fantasy franchise Masters of the Universe is headed back to theaters next year, with director Travis Knight at the helm. Saturday Night Live alum Sasheer Zamata will star in the film, but her character is something of a mystery. While most of the film's characters have years of established lore and action figures associated with them, Zamata is playing someone named "Suzie," whom we know very little about. Collider's Taylor Gates spoke to Zamata about the upcoming film while she was promoting her MCU TV series, Agatha All Along.

When asked what she could say about the film, Zamata couldn't share too much, but she could reveal the comedic nature of her role:

"I have no idea what I can tease. [Laughs] But I finished shooting it. I think they're still shooting the movie, but my part is done. It's very fun, and that one — for me — is actually more comedy,...

'Masters of the Universe' Set Images Hint at She-Ra Crossover
Image
It looks like Masters of the Universe is already hinting at some unexpected presences in the reboot of the '80s cartoon, as new set images have revealed references to several more obscure characters from the franchise, including some from sister series, She-Ra, Princess of Power.

New images from the set, which revealed another look at the jawbridge of Castle Grayskull, show a large set piece that appears to be a huge map of Eternia, housed in what looks like a temple floor, or possibly part of the interior of Castle Grayskull. What is most interesting is that around the map are several depictions that, even from a blurry distance, can be made out as characters from the two Filmation cartoons.

As shared by ForEternia, the characters seen in the illustrations include King Hiss, Bow, Zodak, Netossa, and Perfuma, giving a hint at a much broader Eternia being in play...

Masters Of The Universe Set Photos Tease Zodak, King Hiss, And Characters From She-ra
Image
We recently got our first (distant) glimpse of Castle Grayskull and several costumed actors - one of whom might just have been Jared Leto as Skeletor - on the set of the live-action Masters of the Universe movie, and thanks to ForEternia.com, we now have a look at a huge map of Eternia - complete with some very interesting illustrations.

Some zoomed in (though still not the clearest) shots of the figures surrounding the map reveal what appear to be depictions of a number of supporting characters, including Zodak and King Hiss, as well as Bow, Netossa, and Perfuma from She-Ra!

Zodak, aka the Cosmic Enforcer, is a powerful, immortal Eternian who is a sword enemy of the Snake Men, led by King Hiss. While it's not particularly surprising to see these figures from the lore's ancient history on a map, we did not expect to see any She-Ra references in the movie.

Masters of the Universe Script: After This Update, I Can Not Wait for Nicholas Galitzine’s He-Man Live Action
Image
By the power of Grayskull, it’s really happening. The popular ‘80s icon, He-Man, is making a comeback, and I can already hear Skeletor screaming in the distance! Meanwhile, guess what? It’s Amazon that’s swinging the Sword of Power and reviving Masters of the Universe with a live-action twist—and honestly, I’ve never been more hyped.

But most importantly, it’s the star cast and the director that got my attention. Yes, the dreamy royal from Red, White & Royal Blue, Nicholas Galitzine is stepping into those legendary boots as Prince Adam/He-Man. And as for the director, the genius behind Bumblebee, Travis Knight, will be shaping this reboot to become the ultimate nostalgia driven project.

Masters Of The Universe: Fisto Actor Reveals His Metal Appendage; James Wilkinson Joins Cast As Mekaneck
Image
We recently got our first (distant) glimpse of Castle Grayskull and several costumed actors - one of whom might well have been Jared Leto as Skeletor - on the set of the live-action Masters of the Universe movie, and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson has now shared (via Toonado.com) some more behind-the-scenes photos to social media.

Though these shots are not quite as revealing, the Captain America: Brave New World actor did give fans an obscured first look at the massive metal appendage he'll don as the one and only Fisto.

Malcom, aka Fisto (who is the source of endless innuendo), started out as a villain before turning his back on Skeletor and becoming an ally of He-Man's (Nicholas Galitzine).

In addition, actor and stunt performer James Wilkinson has revealed that he has been cast as the "heroic human periscope" known as Mekaneck, who has the ability to extend his...

Masters Of The Universe Set Photos Reveal Castle Grayskull, Prince Adam, And A Possible First Look At Skeletor
Image
By the Power of Grayskull!

A sizzle reel for Amazon MGM and Mattel's live-action Masters of the Universe movie screened for those in attendance at CinemaCon last week, and while the footage was not released online (a first teaser trailer is probably still a while off), we do have some new photos from the London set.

These drone shots were taken from quite a distance, but we can make out what appears to be Castle Graysull's unmistakable jaw-drawbridge, as well as a captive Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) and several hooded figures, one of whom might just be Skeletor (Jared Leto).

Though there's a chance this could simply be one of Skeletor's minions (there are a number of other skull-armoured individuals nearby), he does appear to be holding the villain's signature ram's head Havoc Staff.

“We’re not making a cartoon here, we’re making a live-action fantasy film,” said...

'Masters of the Universe' Brings Forth the Power of Grayskull in New Set Images
Image
Amazon MGM Studios's Masters of the Universe movie starring Nicholas Galitzine isn't due out until next year, but by the power of Grayskull, we now have our first look at one of the main setpieces of the star-studded fantasy epic while production is underway. New set photos shared online have revealed the gates of Castle Grayskull, including the imposing jaw bridge that welcomes visitors into the keep. It's one of the more iconic aspects of the legendary fortress, and the bridge itself, at the very least, is built practically with giant teeth rising on its edges. There's a lot of work left to be done to have the castle looking like the mythical locale Skeletor and his minions long to claim for themselves, but the shots are an early preview of how the film will capture the full scale of the seat of Eternia's power.

In addition to the toothy bridge,...

'Masters of the Universe' Set Images Reveal Castle Grayskull and Tease CGI Character
Image
The first footage of Masters of the Universe was recently released at CinemaCon, but most people are still waiting to see their first official look at He-Man’s new big-screen iteration. In the meantime, new images from the set of the movie have revealed a teasing first glimpse at one of the iconic locations of the franchise: Castle Grayskull.

While you may need to use your imagination a little, the latest images to leak from the set of the movie have revealed what appears to be the legendary jaw-bridge of the mighty fortress, which has never really been given its dues in a live-action movie. While pretty much everything shown in the images suggests there is going to be a lot of CGI work going into the creation of Masters of the Universe’s Eternia, there are some small tidbits for fans of the franchise to spot on the long-distance shot.

First Footage of ‘Masters of the Universe’ Drops, and It’s Stunning—Plus a Peek at Skeletor
Image
I just got a first look at ‘Masters of the Universe’ and it looks amazing. Amazon and MGM showed off some early footage of the film, and even though it’s still being shot in the United Kingdom, what I saw was enough to get me excited. Director Travis Knight is bringing this classic toy line to life, and it’s clear he’s putting everything into it.

The movie stars Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man, and we got a glimpse of him in action. Picture this—a young guy sitting on a bed, lost in thought, then later sprawled out on the floor in those pink-and-white Prince Adam clothes we all know.

The footage also showed him swinging the famous Sword of Power in a stone room with a big metal stand holding it. Add in some shots of him pumping iron with ‘Masters of the Universe’ posters on the gym walls,...

Masters Of The Universe Sizzle Reel Shown At CinemaCon Reveals Jared Leto's Skeletor, He-Man's Costume, More
Image
Universal Pictures and Amazon MGM Studios took centre stage at CinemaCon yesterday, with the latter studio putting the spotlight on its long-awaited live-action reboot of Masters of the Universe.

Attendees in Las Vegas didn't see a trailer, but a sizzle reel featuring snippets of footage from the movie's set was revealed. The preview saw star Nicholas Galitzine getting into He-Man shape, with a shot of him rocking the character's classic costume and haircut drawing cheers from those in attendance.

It sounds like some huge sets have been constructed in London, many of which recreate locations on Eternia. "By the power of Grayskull!" was heard at one point, and while there weren't too many talking points, Deadline describes the sneak peek as follows:

"This is clearly the first tentpole take of the Mattel property with many of the characters, i.e. Teela, Man at Arms, Skeletor, looking exactly as the toys and then some.

He-Man is finally coming to live-action, and it seems like star Nicholas Galitzine has not taken the assignment lightly. Recent footage of Masters of the Universe shown at CinemaCon reportedly revealed Galitzine’s buff look and incredible blowout that gives him a straight out of the ‘80s cartoon look.

Travis Knight’s upcoming live-action adaptation of the popular cartoon is under production, and fans were delighted to see practical sets, costumes of Idris Elba’s Man-at-Arms, and the general vibe of the film more reminiscent of the cartoon series. The highlight seemed to be Jared Leto’s faceless glimpse as Skeletor.

'Masters of the Universe' Shares First Look at Skeletor in Exclusive CinemaCon Featurette
Image
Jared Leto stepped out of the shadows tonight into his latest role as the dastardly antagonist Skeletor in a featurette for the live-action version of Masters of the Universe. The sneak peek was part of Amazon MGM Studios' presentation at CinemaCon; Collider's Britta DeVore was in attendance. The live-action adaptation of the legendary toy, cartoon, and comic book franchise is set to hit theaters on June 5, 2026.

Leto appeared in an all-black costume on his way to set in a behind-the-scenes featurette that showed off the making of the highly-anticipated Amazon MGM film. Along with Leto, CinemaCon audiences also caught first looks at Nicholas Galitzine’s He-Man, Camila Mendes’ Teela, Idris Elba’s Man-At-Arms, Alison Brie’s Evil-Lyn, and more. Masters of the Universe and Andy Weir’s Project Hail Mary have the power at Amazon’s CinemaCon presentation
Image
CinemaCon 2025 keeps truckin’, and tonight, we have a presentation from Amazon! The studio’s been in the news lately with speculation about the future of the James Bond franchise, exciting new titles coming to Prime Video, and more. Tonight’s showcase began with a trailer for Phil Lord and Christopher Miller’s Project Hail Mary, a dystopian sci-fi film starring Ryan Gosling, Milana Vayntrub, and Sandra Hüller.

Project Hail Mary is based on a book by Andy Weir, and our editor-in-chief, Chris Bumbray, says the movie looks very much like The Martian. Gosling is a high school teacher recruited on a mission to save the planet. The difference is a lot of it is him preparing for a suicide mission. The trailer includes a lot of comedy but also has a considerable scale. The footage shows Gosling on his mission alone as he grows a huge beard. The film looks...

‘Masters Of The Universe’ BTS Reel At CinemaCon Shows Wavy Blonde-Haired Nicholas Galitzine As He-Man
Image
The Travis Knight-directed take on Masters of the Universe showed off a behind the scenes reel at CinemaCon this evening, and let’s just say, it’s no where near as campy and cheesy as the 1980s movie with Dolph Lundgren. After Red One, this is clearly a big tentpole for Amazon MGM Studios with a big summer date of June 5, 2026.

The pic stars Nicholas Galitzine as wavy blonde He-Man, Camila Mendes as Teela, Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Morena Baccarin, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson and Charlotte Riley star, with Jared Leto and Idris Elba.

This is clearly the first tentpole take of the Mattel property with many of the characters, i.e. Teela, Man at Arms, Skeletor, looking exactly as the toys and then some. God knows when the studio will drop the reel, but we catch Jared Leto as Skeletor, Camila Mendes training on jump wires and running sideways,...

The 9 Best Trump Burns From Conan O’Brien’s Mark Twain Prize Ceremony
Image
“Mark Twain hated bullies, and he populated his works with abusers, such as Huck Finn’s abusive father, and he made his readers hate those characters,” noted Conan O’Brien last night upon receiving the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at the suddenly controversial Kennedy Center. “He punched up, not down.”

O’Brien’s praise of Twain was a not-so-subtle rebuke of Donald Trump, the man attempting to remake the Kennedy Center in his own image. The night’s all-star roster of comedians also roasted Trump’s takeover of the night’s venue — without actually evoking his name. Here are nine of the best Trump burns from the ceremony…

1 Triumph the Insult Comic Dog

“Thank you all for coming, and shame on you for being here.”

2 John Mulaney

“Welcome to the Kennedy Center, or as it will be known next week, the Roy Cohn Pavilion for Big Strong Men Who Love Cats.

'Masters of the Universe's Teela Star Camila Mendes Teases Plot Point
Image
When news broke that Nicholas Galitzine had been cast as He-Man in the forthcoming Masters of the Universe project, fans immediately wondered how the classic hero’s rugged persona might translate into a modern live-action adaptation. Some leaked set images and an official image seemed to have settled any initial nerves about how Galitzine would take on the role. Now, another of the movie’s stars has seemed to suggest that the new He-Man may have a humorous streak running through him.

Camila Mendes joined the live-action Masters of the Universe movie in the role of Teela, and while discussing her part in the movie, the actress also touched on something she feels that Galitzine really brings to the film, but teased that saying too much could give away a plot point. Speaking to Collider, Mendez responded to the question of what makes Galitzine’s performance unique by saying:

Conan O’Brien’s Mark Twain Prize Ceremony Doubled as a Roast of Trump’s Kennedy Center
Image
When Donald Trump launched his takeover of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts earlier this year, it was with the promise of restoring what he called the “golden age of arts and culture.” Since then, artists and performers have increasingly distanced themselves from the venue and the administration by canceling scheduled appearances. But even the ones who have shown up have done so in protest, to some extent. On Sunday, Conan O’Brien was presented the Mark Twain Prize for Humor at the Kennedy Center. With his comedian peers in attendance,...

Conan O’Brien Accepts Mark Twain Prize for Humor While Acknowledging the Kennedy Center’s Uncertain Future
Image
On a night when half a dozen people made jokes about this being the last-ever Mark Twain Prize, Conan O’Brien made sure the ceremony at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts ended on a high note.

O’Brien accepted the award for lifetime achievement in comedy Sunday night while acknowledging the backstage turmoil that hangs over the future of the cultural center in Washington, D.C.

O’Brien, 61, was named the 26th recipient of the Mark Twain Prize in mid-January, about three weeks before President Donald Trump upended the Kennedy Center by ousting longtime president Deborah Rutter and board chairman David Rubenstein. Trump dismissed the board of trustees and replaced them with loyalists, who then elected him chairman.

On Sunday, O’Brien specifically thanked Rubenstein and Rutter — drawing an extended round of applause — and also Kennedy Center staffers who, he said, were “worried about what the future might bring.

Comics Skewer Donald Trump’s Kennedy Center Takeover As Conan O’Brien Accepts Its Mark Twain Prize
Image
As he presented the Mark Twain Prize to Conan O’Brien at the end of a ceremony at the Kennedy Center this evening, David Letterman said to the audience, “I’m not a historian, but I believe that history will show, in history for all time, this will have been the most entertaining gathering of the resistance, ever.”

Letterman was speaking to what was like an act of resistance, given that Donald Trump now controls the Kennedy Center, after ousting the president, firing board members to ensure loyalty and ensuring that he himself would be the chairman of the arts institution.

Throughout the evening, comedians tossed in quips at the situation in their comic roasting and heartfelt tributes to O’Brien.

Stephen Colbert: “This is a very different place. Today they announced two board members, Bashar-al-Assad and Skeletor.”

John Mulaney: “Welcome to the Kennedy Center, or as it will be known next week,...

"He's Very Funny": Camila Mendes Teases Nicholas Galitzine's Unique Take on He-Man in Live-Action 'Masters of the Universe' [Exclusive]
Image
Camila Mendes stopped by the Collider Media Studio at SXSW earlier this month to promote her new Reality TV satire Idiotka, where she was asked about her next project—the latest live-action adaptation of Masters of the Universe. Collider's Perri Nemiroff coaxed a few of the secrets of Grayskull out of Mendes in regard to her co-star, Nicholas Galitzine, who will be playing the iconic toy-box hero He-Man. When asked what makes Galitzine's performance unique, Mendes, who co-stars as He-Man's ally Teela, answered:

"I feel like if I were to tell you that, it would completely give away a huge plot point, but I think it'd be his sense of humor. He's very funny, very talented, and very funny."

Mendes went on to speak about her excitement to join a new superhero universe in its beginning stages as a live-action franchise, saying she's always dreamed of being part of a project like this.

Image
Camila Mendes still can't believe she's starring in Masters of the Universe. The actor recently shared how excited she was to be part of the Amazon MGM reboot of the classic cartoon at South by Southwest.

Speaking with Screen Rant at SXSW for her new movie Idiotka, Mendes opened up about Masters of the Universe, which is currently in production. "It's pretty crazy. I'm pinching myself every day, and I'm just so excited to be surrounded by such an incredible cast of people that I've looked up to," she shared. "So yeah, I'm stoked. I'm on a tiny little break [from filming] to do SXSW." Dolph Lundgren Teases Secret Project but Is It as King Grayskull in 'Masters of the Universe'?
Image
Masters of the Universe fans are already hyped up about the return of He-Man to the big screen next summer after several images gave a sneak peek at Nicholas Galitzine’s iteration of Eternia’s muscleman, but has Dolph Lundgren cranked the hype up a little further by teasing an appearance in the movie? Some fans certainly seem to think so as the actor posted several images of himself in London for a “secret project,” which is coincidentally – or not – where Masters of the Universe is currently filming.

Lundgren played He-Man back in 1987, in the only live-action entry in the action fantasy franchise. While the movie was deemed a disaster at the time, mainly thanks to it bearing very little resemblance to the popular 80s cartoon series and toy line, the film has stood the test of time as a cult classic and Lundgren is still part of its legacy.

Stephen Colbert Drags Trump’s Immigration Gold Card Plan: ‘I’m Sure That’ll Only Attract Good People’ | Video
Image
President Donald Trump this week introduced a new immigration plan he wants to implement, offering people the option to get a green card — or, rather, a gold card. And Stephen Colbert promptly shredded the concept on Wednesday night.

According to Trump, a gold card would carry a price tag of $5 million, making it exclusively available to only exceedingly wealthy people from foreign countries.

“Echoing the eternal words on the Statue of Liberty, ‘Give me your tired your poor — psych! Give me 5 million bucks, biatch! We buying bottles in the clurb!'” Colbert joked.

In explaining the gold card to press, President Trump noted that it will “give you green card privileges-plus,” which only made Colbert scoff harder.

“Green card privileges-plus? So Trump’s going to Delta Comfort our immigration system?” he joked, putting on his Trump impression to explain the system. “‘It’s great. There’s green card, green card...

Stephen Colbert dismantles Trump's gold card idea for immigrants
Image
Stephen Colbert surprised his Late Show audience on Wednesday night when he said President Donald Trump had embraced immigrants. The catch? Colbert said Trump only supported rich immigrants wealthy enough to afford his proposed $5 million gold card program.

Under President Trump's plan, individuals could purchase a "gold card" for $5 million that would essentially buy them U.S. citizenship. As Colbert noted, it's a far cry from the inscription on the Statue of Liberty.

Trump's description of the plan as "green card privileges plus" especially amused Colbert. The Late Show host wondered if Trump's idea was to "Delta Comfort" the immigration system.

Colbert went on to cast doubt on the profit President Trump claimed would come from the program. The president suggested it's possible to sell 10 million gold cards for a profit of $50 trillion. But the late-night TV host reminded everyone America already has a law allowing foreigners to acquire...

Masters Of The Universe First Look Reveals An Awesome Glimpse Of He-Man And His Sword Of Power
Image
Our first official look at the live-action Masters of the Universe movie has arrived (via SFFGazette.com) and it offers an exciting glimpse of Nicholas Galitzine's He-Man wielding his iconic Sword of Power.

It's very much just a teaser image but one that was perhaps needed after set photos featured He-Man looking a little too normal for many fans. Showcasing He-Men decked out in normal clothes following an altercation with the police, it seemed the idea was to show the hero was blending in with his new surroundings on Earth.

However, some criticised what appeared to be a major departure from the various cartoons and comics, and expressed disappointment with the action moving away from Eternia.

On the plus side, we now know He-Man will rock his iconic classic appearance in the Masters of the Universe reboot. Hopefully, this is a better indication of what's to come when the...

'Masters of the Universe' 2026 Image Teases Nicholas Galitzine's He-Man & Power Sword
Image
Long before streaming services made binge-watching an anytime pastime, kids in the 1980s raced home from school to see He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, andthe endless fight against the evil Skeletor. Those kids may have grown-up – in size at least – but the new tease of Nicholas Galitzine’s take on He-Man is sure to send them right back to a time before the internet, mobile phones, and even Dolph Lundgren’s iteration of the muscleman of Eternia.

Fans who grew up chanting “I have the power!” have been waiting forever to see a live-action version of Masters of the Universe that actually remains faithful to the original Filmation cartoon series, and they are getting it courtesy of Amazon MGM Studios after decades of false starts. Hot on the heels of some leaked set images of Galitzine in Prince Adam form, an official still has now given just a...

Nicholas Galitzine summons the power of Grayskull with his Power Sword in the first image from Masters of the Universe
Image
Nicholas Galintzine has the power in the first image from Travis Knight’s Masters of the Universe. Today, Amazon MGM Studios unveiled a close-up image of Galintzine as He-Man with the hero’s iconic Power Sword in hand. Though slightly dark, the picture shows the powerful weapon that helps Prince Adam transform into the all-powerful warrior of Eternia, He-Man, and the blade looks incredible. You can also glimpse Galintzine’s chiseled physique and He-Man’s vembraces tightly secured to his forearms. It’s funny. The photo leaves much to the imagination, but I’ll be damned if I’m not getting good vibes. The Power Sword looks legit Af, and Galintzine’s gym routine has treated him well.

Today’s Masters of the Universe image arrives as the film, directed by Bumblebee’s Travis Knight, continues production. Chris Butler wrote the Masters of the Universe screenplay based on earlier drafts...

Masters of the Universe: Amazon Unveils First Look at New Live-Action He-Man
Image
Nicholas Galitzine has the Power! Amazon MGM Studios has released the first look at the actor in character as He-Man for the live-action Masters of the Universe reboot.

The image was shared on the studio's official X account alongside the caption, "Eternia is in good hands. Here's your first look at Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man with the Sword of Power in the upcoming film." Unfortunately for fans, the image doesn't offer a full-body shot of Galitzine in costume as He-Man. Instead, the image is a close-up of his hands and upper body, with the Sword of Power taking up most of the shot. However, based on what is shown, the reboot's He-Man looks extremely faithful to the original animated version. Check out the image below.

Masters Of The Universe Live-Action Movie Casts Eternals' Jon Xue Zhang As Ram-Man
Image
Cameras are now rolling on Amazon MGM and Mattel's live-action Masters of the Universe movie in London, and THR brings word on three new additions to the cast.

Agatha All Along's Sasheer Zamata will play Suzie, Double Exposure actor Christian Vunipola will play Hussein, and Eternals stunt performer and The Brothers Sun actor Jon Xue Zhang will play Ram-Man.

Suzie and Hussein are most likely characters created for the movie (there's a good chance they will be friends of Adam on Earth), but Ram-Man should be very familiar to fans of the classic animated series and action figure line.
