Serdar Ogretici graduated from Marmara University, and he went to the United States of America for his Master's degree where he completed his directing education at the New York Film Academy. He returned to Turkey in 2005. After working as a manager in various companies, he founded the company named "Akil Fikir Isleri" in 2010 with Yusuf Esenkal. He has realized many domestic and foreign projects, some of which were deemed worthy of various awards, at Akil Fikir Isleri. He established Es Film in 2014, and produced successful projects like TV series Filinta, Zeyrek and Ceyrek, and Payitaht-Abdülhamit, exemplary projects for Turkish production market. He started his international production projects in 2015, and with the Los Angeles-based Eastern Sunrise Film company, he is making the stories of Turkey as Hollywood productions, starting from the movie "Ottoman Lieutenant" which is a great production success with a marvelous universal cast and top-tier quality.
