Michel Monty is an award-winning writer, director from Atlanta, GA. He started directing television for HULU at 28 with shows such as Dead Silent and Unbreakable. He has won awards for his short films Drophead and With the Boys.
Michel writes visually-driven screenplays with a focus on high-concepts and uniquely autonomous characters. His stories explore the strangeness of the human condition through impossible choices and active characters.
In his free time, he likes to make music, read plays, and postmortem movies. A few of his favorites are The Hustler, Vertigo, Moonlight, and Safety Last. Michel also loves to teach and is often invited to lecture at Full Sail University, Oglethorpe, and Georiga State on the process of writing and directing for film and television.
