Skip Middleton
- Producer
Skip Middleton, a NC native, was raised on Maryland's Eastern Shore. After attending boarding school at the film location of Dead Poet Society - St. Andrews School in Middletown, DE (with classmate and now acclaimed movie editor, Plummy Tucker), he went on to obtain a drama degree from Washington College, the same small liberal arts college attended by Golden Globe nominee Linda Hamilton and Oscar winner Tammy Tiehel-Stedman. Middleton and Tiehel not only attended college together, but they also invested together in Indie Romantic Comedy, "Slow Learners", a Tribeca Film Festival entry for 2015, starring Adam Pally and Sarah Burns. After a long career in the tech and publishing industries, Middleton went to to executive produce the 2016 anti-bullying movie, Scene Queen (marketed at Cannes as "Teen Fight Club"), with yet another Washington College graduate, Janet Harvey. This small liberal arts school also produced Laura San Giacomo, Julia Roberts' sidekick in the ever-popular movie, Pretty Woman with Richard Gere, as well as the star of television series, Just Shoot Me.
