Biography

James Oswald is the author of the Inspector McLean mysteries, set in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has also written an epic fantasy series, The Ballad of Sir Benfro. Both are published in the UK by Penguin. He has also been published by the British weekly comics anthology, 2000AD, and the Canadian crime fiction magazine Spinetingler.

James lives in Fife, Scotland, where he runs a 350 acre livestock farm, raising Highland cattle and New Zealand Romney sheep. Writing happens in the dark hours.
