The Forsyte Saga is returning to PBS and Masterpiece. The network has ordered a new series based on John Galsworthy's novels. A previous adaptation of the book series, starring Damian Lewis, Rupert Graves, Gina McKee, Corin Redgrave, and Ioan Gruffudd, aired on PBS in 2002 and ran for two seasons and 10 episodes. This new reimagining is being set up to have multiple seasons.
Francesca Annis, Jack Davenport, Tom Durant Pritchard, Jamie Flatters, Millie Gibson, Danny Griffin, Susan Hampshire, Owen Igiehon, Tuppence Middleton, Stephen Moyer, Joshua Orpin, Josette Simon, and Eleanor Tomlinson will star in this new telling of the Galworth’s work. The first season of six episodes will follow the Forsyte family as they live in 1880s London.

The live-action Titans series had tremendous potential, from its source material to the pedigrees of the talent bringing the heroes to television. Titans failed to work from the first episode to the last. As a television series, it needed a bigger budget for better effects, and the caliber of actors needed to be stronger to pull off these larger-than-life personalities.
Most of the storylines were drawn from Marv Wolfman and George Pérez’s seminal run from the early 1980s or the early issues from Geoff Johns and Mike McKone’s run in the 2000s. Both required a consistent tonality along with a budget to make the scope of the stories work.
In the fourth and final series, out now on disc from Warner Home Entertainment, the series tackled both Lex Luthor and Brother Blood. Either one could easily have been the Big Bad for these last dozen episodes, but they split the focus and,...

While Titans already ended its four-season run on Max, its showrunner has potential story ideas for Season 5 that would've included notable returning characters.

Titans showrunner Greg Walker previously said that he wanted to introduce new characters in Season 5, such as The Fearsome Five and Tara, while Superboy actor Joshua Orpin mentioned that he wants to see his DC character go away for a little bit if the show returns for another season.

This post contains spoilers for the fourth season of "Titans."
At the midpoint of the fourth season, "Titans" has taken the trailer slogan "new beginning" to heart so far. The change of scenery for the titular superhero team has brought in new allies and villains into the fold, from Lex Luthor (Titus Welliver) to Jinx (Lisa Ambavalanar). A different tone also permeates throughout the series, one that aptly mixes a good dose of horror with noticeably fluffier superhero stuffing. But the Titans themselves still have a lot to learn, especially Superboy, aka Conner Kent (Joshua Orpin). The most powerful member of the team has arrived at an existential crossroads this season, and it's evolved him into becoming a very different kind of character that leans into his heritage.

The fourth season of "Titans" is finally upon us, and we think it's off to a very solid start. The titular team is back at it again, facing yet another iconic DC Comics villain in a season chock-full of horror and supernatural elements. A shift in location has the Titans conducting their superhero business in the city of Metropolis, home to Superman, Lex Luthor (Titus Welliver), and everyone in between. The series is not new to introducing big names from the comics, including Bruce Wayne himself, played by "Game of Thrones" alum Ian Glen. However, despite a certain character's connections to the hero, the Man of Steel himself has yet to make an appearance.
Superboy, aka Conner Kent (Joshua Orpin), has been a staple member of the series since his debut in the second season. A product of an experiment by the megalomaniac genius, Superboy is the clone-son of Superman and Lex Luthor.

The live-action Titans series has been flawed from the get-go by presenting us with a Dick Grayson that the writers woefully misunderstand. There is no comic book creator who ever depicted Grayson in this manner so it sets the wrong tone. Its low-budget when created for the short-lived DC Universe streaming service didn’t help.

This article contains spoilers for the latest episode of "Titans."
The fourth season of "Titans" has finally arrived, warts and all. In the first two episodes, we get a taste of what is in store for the titular superhero team this time around. A lighter tone permeates through the show, while its sinister roots still show up from time to time. The change of location to Metropolis has brought a lot of new things for the Titans to worry about, including the introduction of Lex Luthor, played by Titus Welliver. The tenured Superman villain is perhaps the biggest new addition to the series, and rightfully so. Lex is a force to be reckoned with, and the actor plays him at the peak of his intelligence.

The fourth season of "Titans" has finally arrived, warts and all. In the first two episodes, we get a taste of what is in store for the titular superhero team this time around. [This story contains spoilers for the premiere episode of Titans season four “Lex Luthor.”]
In its season four return, HBO Max’s Titans introduces Lex Luthor, one of Superman’s greatest foes, and in the same hour kills him off.
But before he goes, in yet another unexpected twist, Lex — who is revealed to have a terminal illness — leaves Joshua Orpin’s Superboy his empire and legacy, Lexcorp. Lex’s arrival is not only surprising for the Titan, but comes at a particularly interesting time after Superman fails to show up for the young hero.
While Lex’s presence is short-lived, the actor who plays him Titus Welliver understands that there’s a significance to his fleeting time with Superboy — particularly in the absence of Superman — that will play a sharp role in helping shape the Titan’s season four arc.
It’s a role that Welliver came in well-prepared for. Knowledgeable of the Titans comics,...

Titans heads to Metropolis in Season 4, and for executive producer Greg Walker, when it came to that decision, it was simple: “We said, where do we want to go next? We were in an Rv, and we were heading to San Francisco. We had to go someplace. It was Vegas or Metropolis.” Walker and series stars Ryan Potter (Gar Logan/Beast Boy), Brenton Thwaites (Richard “Dick” Grayson/Robin/Nightwing), and Joshua Orpin (Conner Kent/Super Boy) and executive producer Greg Walker sat down with Damian Holbrook in TV Insider and TV Guide Magazine’s studio at New York Comic Con 2022 to tease what’s ahead — other than that supernatural cult with powers they’ll be facing — with the HBO Max series returning on November 3. Conner will be meeting one of his two dads in Season 4, “and it may not be the one that you think,” Orpin says of what’s...

Apple TV+ revealed the official trailer today for Season 2 of “Slow Horses,” the Gary Oldman thriller series that follows a team of British intelligence agents. The second season premieres globally on the streaming service Dec. 2 with the first two episodes, followed by one new episode each week after that for the duration of the six-episode season.
And if there’s any confirmation of what fans can anticipate from Season 2, it’s that “more people are going to die,” according to a voice-over in the trailer from returning star Jack Lowden.
In the new season of “Slow Horses” (which is adapted from Mick Herron’s sequel novel “Dead Lion”), when exposure of previously-concealed Cold War secrets creates tension between Russia and Britain, the spies are again tasked with protecting society from inevitable catastrophe. Stars from Season 1 have returned for the production of the upcoming release, including Academy-Award winner Oldman as Jackson Lamb,...

Although the fate of Titans may be up in the air, fans still have another season of the DC series to look forward to. HBO Max has released the official trailer for Titans season 4, which introduces one of the big baddies of the DC Universe — Lex Luthor.
Described in the Titans season 4 trailer as “the only man Bruce Wayne was ever afraid of,” Lex Luthor is played by the great Titus Welliver, and he definitely makes an impact. The new season finds the Titans hitting the road back to San Francisco after having saved Gotham. But after a stop in Metropolis, they find themselves in the crosshairs of a supernatural cult with powers unlike anything they’re faced before. The Titans include Brenton Thwaites as Nightwing, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, and Joshua Orpin as Superboy. In addition to Titus Welliver as Lex Luthor,...

With three seasons under its belt, "Titans" returns to HBO Max next month to face supernatural cults, maniacal supervillains, and a very familiar face. In anticipation of its November debut, the streaming service has released a full-length trailer that pulls the veil over the jam-packed season. Among many things, the introduction of Lex Luthor (Titus Welliver), who finds himself at the center of the Cult of Blood, as well as the live-action debut of Brother Blood (Joseph Morgan). Moreover, an antagonist from the second season finally makes his long-awaited return, and I'm personally glad he's back.
I'll let the footage of the blood-soaked trailer speak for itself, which can be seen below in its entirety.

The official trailer for Titans Season 4 is here, and it looks like a major step up from Titans Season 3.
The team goes toe-to-toe with plenty of villains, including Lex Luthor (Titus Welliver), Brother Blood (Joseph Morgan), and plenty more.
Lex is a considerable presence in the trailer as Welliver promises to deliver a different iteration of Lex.
“Welcome to the ancient world, Mr. Luthor. Soon the gods will know your name," we hear someone say.
“I can assure you — the gods already know me," Lex fires back.
Franka Potente is also on board as Mother Mayhem, and it looks like this villain came prepared.
Titans Season 4 will debut with two episodes on November 3.
A midseason finale will air Thursday, December 1, while the second batch of episodes will launch sometime in 2023.

Dogs are the best companions for humans, especially when they can shoot lasers from their irresistible eyes. Krypto, the doggie of Connor Kent (Joshua Orpin), aka Super Boy, forged from the DNA of Lex Luther and Clark Kent, from "Titans" has to be the cutest pet there is in the DC Universe, adding some fluff to the brooding Titans. He sits and wags his tail proudly among a pantheon of superhero pet sidekicks from DC to Marvel.
One of the dog stars that plays Krypto goes by the name of "Pepsi." And if his appearance in the recent season 4 footage indicates, we're going to get more Pepsi, his loyalty to Connor Kent, and hopefully his laser eyes. DC's live-action "Titans" series is returning to HBO Max early next month, and in tandem with New York Comic-Con this past weekend, the streamer has released an official teaser and clip giving fans a taste of some new villains who are coming to the show in season 4. Developed by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, and Greg Berlanti, "Titans" is going the route of many a streaming series and splitting this season up so that it's only part 1 of season 4 that is coming your way next month.
Let's start by looking at the teaser, which you can see below.
