This article contains spoilers through the Manifest series finale.
After keeping viewers captivated since 2018, Manifest finally reached its thrilling conclusion as season 4 part 2 landed on Netflix on Friday. While the series answered most of our burning questions regarding the mystery of Flight 828 and whether passengers could survive the Death Date, it did leave viewers with many questions regarding the show’s arc and whether some deaths were necessary.
For most of the last ten episodes of Manifest, flight 828 passengers found themselves locked in a detention center by the Registry because of public fear and the government wanting to do scientific experiments on them. The passenger’s position in the detention center hindered their ability to solve their callings and figure out what needed to be done to help them survive the Death Date.

Flight 828 has finally landed. After four seasons of solving countless mysteries and trying to figure out how to avoid their approaching Death Date, the passengers at the center of Netflix's "Manifest" have finally met their fate.
"Manifest" focuses on a group of people who board a flight home from the Bahamas in 2013 - only to touch down in 2018, though to them it seems like no time has passed. The passengers soon find themselves receiving mysterious visions they call Callings, which often lead them to save lives or solve crimes. As the show progresses, though, it becomes clear that the Callings are actually warning the passengers about an upcoming Death Date, which they eventually discover doesn't only apply to them; instead, the whole world seems to be facing an apocalypse. Helmed by siblings Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh) and Ben Stone (Josh Dallas), the passengers set out to save the world.

The penultimate episode of Netflix’s Manifest begins with a flashback to Ben and Michaela as kids. Season four episode 19 reveals that as kids, they made a deal not to compete and instead to be equals, with their mom insisting that as co-captains they’ll be stronger together.
Current events find Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh) and Ben (Josh Dallas) sharing a brief moment of sibling bonding, with Michaela teasing her big brother about the smell of perfume clinging to his clothes. It’s one day until the Death Date, and Ben’s been trying to keep the 828ers calm, assuring them it’s not over until it’s over.

The action picks up on May 31, 2024, two days before the Death Date, as Netflix’s Manifest season four episode 18 opens. The government can’t stop the volcanic activity and Saanvi’s being blamed for not helping them enough to get the situation under control.
The public’s being kept in the dark about the impending extinction-level event and have no idea what’s causing the seismic activity.
Troy (Ed Herbstman) suggests using an electromagnetic pulse to block the Ulf, and he’s ordered to try it first on the black box. Saanvi (Parveen Kaur) is concerned the experiment will wipe out the box’s data – but that won’t matter if the world ends anyway.

Netflix’s Manifest season four episode 17 takes an eight-month time jump to May 2, 2024, exactly one month prior to the Death Date. Drea (Ellen Tamaki) is about to give birth to Jared’s baby – which she didn’t tell him about when he got back together with Michaela – and returns home from shopping with her mom but won’t let her inside her the building. She claims she doesn’t want to show it off until she has it all fixed up, but the real reason is that there’s nothing inside.
She purchased the place near the detention center and has been busy attempting to break through the wall.
Inside the center, Ben (Josh Dallas) is now the unofficial mayor and everyone’s busy with their assigned jobs. There’s a healthy vegetable garden, but the rations are running low.

Jared and Michaela are reigniting their relationship and enjoying life away from the detention center as Netflix’s Manifest season four episode 16 opens. With Michaela’s dad resting peacefully upstairs, the couple get to know each other’s naked bodies once again.
The following morning, Jared (J.R. Ramirez) returns from grocery shopping with plenty of supplies to make grilled cheese – one of Michaela’s favorites – and wonders how long they need to remain hidden. The detention center must be tracking Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh), so they can’t even make any phone calls.
Back at the detention center, Ben (Josh Dallas) is convinced everyone’s going to die, and it’s all his fault. He accidentally stopped the 828ers from receiving callings once he injected Angelina with Saanvi’s serum. Vance (Daryl Edwards) insists Ben had no way of knowing the callings would disappear.

The missing-plane drama Manifest has had a hell of a ride. First came the now infamous cancellation by NBC, followed by months of uncertainty over the show’s remaining two seasons and then culminating in a last-minute, 20-episode order from Netflix. The second half of the abbreviated final season will hit the streamer June 2 — right in the middle of the WGA strike that prohibits its prolific writer-showrunner, Jeff Rake, from promoting the series.
Luckily for the show, star Josh Dallas (who plays Flight 828 passenger Ben Stone and will appear at the Atx TV Festival with other castmembers June 1) is picking up the baton. He spoke to THR — while enjoying his time at home in L.A. with his wife, actress Ginnifer Goodwin, and their two young children after five years of production in New York — about Manifest‘s marquee ending and the state of episodic television going forward.

Our favorite 828ers have seen better days, and it's hard not to worry about how their journies will end.
On Thursday, Netflix went public with the official trailer for the second half of Manifest Season 4, and it's a lot to process.
"When we boarded [Flight] 828, we had no idea what a tortured, life-changing journey we were about to embark on," Josh Dallas' Ben Stone says atop the new trailer.
We're then subjected to the complicated perils that come with the mysterious death date.
Angelina is very clearly on one and won't stop until she's achieved what she believes to be her calling.
We already know Angelina was devoted to the cause when she stabbed Grace, indulged in saphire, and gave her best apocalypse pose at the close of the first half of Manifest Season 4.
The Stones and everyone else are trying to comprehend what the end looks like, and I dare...

“When we boarded 828, we had no idea what a tortured, life-changing journey we were about to embark on,” Ben (Josh Dallas) says in the trailer for Manifest‘s final episodes. “And now we’re finally at the end.” But what does that end look like? Simply put: not good. They’re not resolving enough Callings to survive the Death Date, and that day is quickly approaching. Cal’s (Ty Doran) glowing again. Angelina (Holly Taylor) thinks God chose her to guide those worthy through the final judgment. Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh) sees her dead husband, Zeke (Matt Long), who says, “If I tell you about the future, it will change your decisions.” There’s the Michaela and Jared (J.R. After being saved from a crash-landing by Netflix just two years ago, “Manifest” has just about reached its final destination. The NBC supernatural drama-turned Netflix original will premiere the back half of its fourth and final season on June 2, the streamer announced Friday. The news was accompanied by a teaser for the final episodes.
Created by Jeff Rake, “Manifest” debuted on NBC in September 2018. The show was a ratings success in its first season, attracting 10.3 million viewers for its pilot episode. The show’s numbers steadily declined across its following two seasons, and NBC pulled the plug on the drama in June 2021.
Although that cancellation would typically be the end of the series’ flight plan, “Manifest” unexpectedly found a new set of wings on Netflix. The streaming giant added all three “Manifest” seasons the same month NBC grounded the drama; the show quickly found an entirely new audience on the streamer,...

Happy death date: Netflix’s “Manifest” Season 4, Part 2 is set to premiere on June 2, nearly eight months after Part 1’s release in November 2022. The supernatural drama series returns with its final 10 episodes that continue the stories of Montego Air Flight 828 passengers who are making the most of their second lease on life.
The first episode of Season 4, Part 2 will premiere at the Atx TV festival in early June, followed by an in-person panel with showrunner Jeff Rake and cast members.
The return of “Manifest” coincides with the show’s infamous “death date,” June 2, which has been a recurring mystery throughout the series. It was first assumed by 828 passengers that June 2, 2024 marked the day they would lose their lives, but this season revealed it to be much more serious than that, with the “death date” marking the end of the world.

This article contains Manifest season 4 spoilers.
Manifest, the canceled NBC series that was given a second chance at life by Netflix just dropped the first 10 episodes of its fourth and final season. Answers to long-held questions have been pouring in, many of which refer to a “divine consciousness” that provides an explanation for the prophetic callings that the characters experience, among other things. To say the fan favorite TV show took viewers on a whirlwind of a trip, hinting towards a final destination, would be an understatement.
As following on from the season three cliffhanger, where Grace Stone (Athena Karkanis) was murdered by fellow 828-passenger Angelina Meyer (Holly Taylor), we enter season four part one with a two-year time jump to find the Stone family still understandably shaken and ridden with grief. Ben (Josh Dallas) has isolated himself as he searches for his daughter Eden who has been kidnapped by Angelina.

Other key moments: Zeke (Matt Long) sacrifices himself to save Cal (Ty Doran), the government decides to detain all passengers on US soil, and Angelina (Holly Taylor) remains free to wreak (sapphire-tinted) havoc. Spoiler alert: This article discusses all plot points from the first 10 episodes of Season 4 of “Manifest.”
The first 10 episodes of “Manifest’s” fourth season have now dropped on Netflix, after a labored birth in which the show was rescued by the streamer after NBC canceled it in May 2021.
And naturally, the show’s mysteries deepen. After catching up with the survivors of Flight 828, Variety spoke with “Manifest” creator Jeff Rake, who broke down all of the twists and turns — and gave a preview of the show’s upcoming final 10 episodes.
The last shot in this batch of episodes is so creepy. How would you describe what’s happening with Angelina’s hand fusing with the sapphire?
Angelina [Holly Taylor] has been desperately trying to accumulate power, and whether that’s by teaming up with Cal [Ty Doran] or somehow getting closer to an archangel, whatever that means in her mind...

Sometimes life imitates art, which is essentially what happened when NBC’s twisty mystery drama “Manifest” was saved from cancellation by Netflix. Just as the passengers of Flight 828 got a second chance at life, the show gets a second chance to explain why, and that time has come with the first half of the final season — billed as “Manifest” Season 4 Part 1.
It’s been a year and a half off screen and two years on screen, and somehow both nothing and everything has changed since Season 3’s devastating cliffhanger. Manifest series creator Jeff Rake will finally have the opportunity to answer all the lingering questions with the much-anticipated fourth – and final – season, premiering on Netflix on November 4, 2022. Viewership numbers for seasons one and two on the streaming service were so impressive that Netflix executives made Manifest fans’ dreams come true by granting the canceled series one final season.
Season four is divided into two parts, with the first 10 episodes arriving on Nov. 4th. The final 10 episodes will follow in 2023.
Manifest season four episode one picks up two years after Angelina (Holly Taylor) murdered Ben’s wife, Grace (Athena Karkanis), and kidnapped their baby, Eden. The story also picks up with Cal, who aged five years during the season three finale, now seven years older and still very confused about what’s happened to him.

Manifest Boss Breaks Down 'Powerful' Midseason Finale Moment — and What Happens Next in Final Season
The following contains massive spoilers from the 10th episode of Manifest’s final season (aka the midseason finale).
When the lyrical savant Taylor Swift crooned “life is emotionally abusive, and time can’t stop me quite like you did” in “Snow on the Beach,” she was probably referring to the first 10 episodes of Manifest‘s fourth and final season, which were released Friday on Netflix.

As Manifest prepares to air its fourth and final season on Netflix, longtime fans know that there are a lot of questions still to be answered in the twenty episodes that remain. Will the divine nature of the callings ever truly be known? Is there a scientific explanation behind the dark lightning and the time jumps? Is the death date avoidable, or is it even real? We asked the cast members, as fans of their own show, what their favorite long-held mysteries were now that they know what audiences are about to discover.
For J. R. Ramirez, the actor behind the intrepid police detective Jared Vasquez, the majority of the dramatic tension comes from the looming danger presented by the so called “death date,” a presumed expiration date for all Flight 828 passengers based on the amount of time the airplane leaped forward into the future. “The fact that there’s this looming,...

When Manifest‘s final season picks up, two years have passed since the Stones’ lives were changed in a devastating way — Grace (Athena Karkanis) was killed and baby Eden was kidnapped by Angelina (Holly Taylor). And in the first seven minutes of the Season 4 premiere, just released by Netflix, it doesn’t look like anything’s getting better anytime soon. Ben’s (Josh Dallas) hanging up new posters for his missing daughter — over old ones for her and the missing Cal — and ignoring calls from a “Gabriel.” A heartbreaking flashback shows him arriving home that night and learning what happened. Cal (Ty Doran), who disappeared only to return aged five years (as he would have if he hadn’t been on Flight 828) as his mother died in the Season 3 finale, watched from across the street. Meanwhile, at home, Olive (Luna Blaise) is trying to replicate her mom’s pancakes (but...

“Manifest” Season 4 wasn’t gonna happen — but then came the streaming numbers.
Netflix launched reruns of “Manifest” Seasons 1 and 2 on June 10, 2021; four days later, NBC canceled its “Lost”-like missing-airplane series. On June 24, 2021, Netflix launched its weekly Global Top 10 TV and Film lists. Guess which series claimed two of the Top 5 slots?
Season 1 ranked third on the streamer’s inaugural weekly ranking; “Manifest” Season 2 was fifth. The first season would go on to appear on Netflix’s Top 10 English-language TV series list 18 more times — the only other show to pull that off is a little ditty called “Stranger Things 4.”
“Manifest” was a Top 5 broadcast entertainment series in its first season; beyond prime-time football, only “This Is Us” drew higher Nielsen ratings among adults 18-49 on NBC that year. The following season, it dropped out of the Top 20; Season 3 didn’t make the Top 50. Season 2 appeared eight times on the weekly...

After being brought back from the dead (cancellation), Manifest is preparing for its final descent with a fourth and final season on Netflix. Cast members Josh Dallas (Ben), Melissa Roxburgh (Michaela), J.R. Ramirez (Jared), Matt Long (Zeke), Parveen Kaur (Saanvi), Luna Blaise (Olive), Ty Doran (Cal), Holly Taylor (Angelina) and Daryl Edwards (Vance) and creator Jeff Rake were at New York Comic Con to tease what to expect in a panel moderated by Jim Halterman. “We went back to exactly where we always planned to go,” Rake said. “The first thing [Netflix] said to us is continue the story, keep going where you always intended to.” Read on for everything that was revealed about what’s still to come. Ben’s grief beard: With Baby Eden still missing after the two year time jump, Ben is “in a really dark place,” Rake teased. “He’s sort of stuck in this grief pit and this profound anger,...
