Bobby Beamer is an actor, known for My Eyes (2014) and Urban Shakedown (2016). After years of experience in public speaking at conferences, trade shows and public hearings, plus instructional videos and unscripted interviews, Bobby decided at age 56 that it was finally time to give acting a try. He decided to slowly gain on-set experience by working with and studying other actors on local student films and short films in the Houston, Texas area.
Starting in Feb. 2012, he went to his first casting call, for a very minor role in a feature film, and got the part. In the next 22 months, he worked on 16 films in principal or supporting roles, plus other films where he could watch and learn from seasoned professionals. In Dec. 2013, he had to take a break from film roles, for work related reasons. He hopes to use what he's learned so far to build a substantial resume in the future.
