The modern world of sports has so many other things than just… playing sports. The recent scoop is that Logan Paul and Ksi’s company Prime Hydration is now the exclusive official hydration partner for the WWE.
Ryan Garcia, the American professional boxer who recently had a match with Devin Haney, also fired shots at Prime Hydration. Flooring Haney on the ground, Garcia won the fight. However, the boxer took to his X and blamed Logan Paul’s Prime for Devin Haney’s loss and claimed that the drink was responsible for making wrestlers lose!

WWE has sold sponsorship rights to a prime piece of real estate: the center of its ring.
On Friday, WWE announced a “record-setting” pact with Logan Paul and Ksi’s Prime Hydration beverage brand to become the wrestling entertainment company’s exclusive “official hydration drink partner” and the first partner to ever appear on the center of the WWE ring.
With the deal, WWE is following the playbook of UFC, now its corporate cousin under Tko Group, formed last year in a merger engineered by UFC owner Endeavor. Earlier this year, Tko brought together the global partnerships teams at UFC and WWE to form “a singular global partnerships unit with a unified sponsorship strategy,” the company said.
WWE’s new deal with Prime comes after UFC in January 2023 struck an exclusive global partnership with the drink brand. Paul, a digital influencer and wrestling pro, also has a talent deal to appear in WWE’s SmackDown.

Jake Paul is getting back in the ring to take on an opponent who will be 58 years old at the time of the fight. But Paul’s opponent isn’t an ordinary fiftysomething: Boxing legend Mike Tyson will do battle against “The Problem Child” in a spectacle that will be broadcast live on Netflix.
The bout is scheduled for July 20, with AT&T Stadium (the home of the Dallas Cowboys) serving as the host venue. Netflix partnered with Most Valuable Promotions to put on the event, which could draw a live, in-person audience of up to 80,000 attendees.
The combatants took opposite paths to their upcoming clash. Paul is a social media star who magnified the influencer boxing trend after a series of strong performances in the ring. South Park has satirized all corners of American pop culture over its 26-season run. The show’s latest Paramount+ special took on the creator economy by poking fun at OnlyFans, Logan Paul, and the questionable influencer marketing practices Paul has used to advertise his beverage brand.
The special, titled South Park: Not Suitable For Children, is the sixth South Park installment that Trey Parker and Matt Stone have released exclusively on Paramount+. The 42-minute program centers around a sports drink called Cred — a thinly veiled reference to Paul and Ksi’s Prime. The kids at South Park Elementary are trying to acquire as many bottles of Cred as they can. Meanwhile, in videos that resemble the Prime Super Bowl ad, a South Park-ified version of Paul named Logan LeDouche inspires the kids to express their individuality (by buying Cred).

The 2023 edition of the annual Sidemen charity soccer match drew bigger numbers than any previous installment of the event series. In front of 62,000 fans at London Stadium, the U.K-based septet and their creator guests scored 13 goals while raising a £2.4 million sum that will be split among several organizations.
The Sidemen squad won the match, defeating the YouTube All-Stars by a score of 8-5. Of the five Sidemen charity matches that have been played, the titular group has won four, including three in a row. Anyone who followed the odds and bet on the home team was rewarded after the September 9 match.
Months before it match was held, Sidemen members like Ksi were already hyping it as the biggest charity event in the group’s history. After previously meeting the YouTube All-Stars at a 27,000-seat venue, the Sidemen leveled up their annual showdown by bringing it to the Premier League’s third-largest venue.

The Sidemen are all set for their biggest charity soccer match today, and even sports bettors are starting to take notice. The website SportsLens has shared official odds for the U.K. supergroup’s next clash with the so-called “YouTube All-Stars”.
The Sidemen — Ksi, Miniminter, Zerkaa, Tbjzl, Behzinga, Vikkstar123, and W2S — have defeated the YouTube All-Stars in three of their four previous meetings. SportsLens factored that history into its odds by establishing the Sidemen as the betting favorites. A draw is a 5-1 shot, and the YouTube All-Stars have 7-2 odds to break their losing streak.
SportsLens has also set an over-under for the total number of goals that will be scored during the match. The line is at 8.5, and the over definitely favors the Sidemen. They’ve rippled the net at least seven times in all three of their charity match wins, and the YouTube All-Stars’ only victory...

It feels a little strange to say this in August, but the 2023 Streamy Awards are officially over, and they handed out a grand total of 50 awards to this year’s top creators.
This was the first year Tubefilter and dick clark productions held Streamys in the summertime, but the change of season didn’t mean everything changed: For the fourth time in a row, MrBeast took home Creator of the Year, and for the second time in a row, Kai Cenat snagged Streamer of the Year.
As for Show of the Year, that went to Michelle Khare and her daredevil series Challenge Accepted.
This year’s ceremony was hosted by MatPat, and featured dozens of presenters, including Dylan Mulvaney, Ryan Trahan, The Try Guys‘ Keith Habersberger and Zach Kornfeld, Smosh‘s Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox, TikTok Npc streamer Pinkydoll, Colin and Samir, Dream, Michelle Khare, Anna Sitar, Austin Creed,...

The 2023 Streamy Awards honored the best in content creation on social media and Dylan Mulvaney took the trophy for Breakout Creator.
“I’m really shocked because I thought the only award I’d ever win was maybe a Tony Award but now I’m a musical theater gal with a Streamy,” the social media star said while accepting her award Sunday at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.
Mulvaney went viral after receiving backlash from conservative media over promoting Bud Light.
“532 days ago, I made a coming-out video that turned into my ‘Days of Girlhood’ series, and my life has been changed for the better,” she continued. “But on the flip side, there’s also been an extreme amount of transphobia and hate, and I know that my community is feeling it.”

Dude Perfect is the latest creator group to grab a stake in English soccer. The Texas-based collective known for improbable trick shorts and sports-themed comedy has become a minority owner of Premier League club Burnley F.C.
The partnership between Dude Perfect and Burnley began earlier this year, when the YouTube stars signed on as official shirt sponsors for Burnley’s junior and academy teams. As the Lancashire-based club prepared to open the 2023-24 Prem season against reigning league champions Manchester City, Dude Perfect donned claret-and-blue outfits and took their support to the next level. By investing in Burnley, they are following in the footsteps of former NFL star J.J. Watt, who also owns a minority stake in the club.

The two creators who kicked off the influencer boxing trend are donning their gloves once again, but this time, they won’t be fighting each other. The next chapter of the Misfits Boxing event series will feature both Ksi and Logan Paul, with the former creator taking on undefeated challenger Tommy Fury.
The roster of fights for the October 14 event is described as a “Prime card,” in reference to the beverage brand Ksi (real name J.J. Olatunji) and Paul co-founded in early 2022. Prime will serve as one of the sponsors for the multi-fight showdown, as will streaming platform Kick and Kick-affiliated gambling company Stake.
The event will bring Ksi and Paul back to the Ao Arena in Manchester. In 2018, when the venue was still known as Manchester Arena, it hosted a spectacle known as the “YouTube World Boxing Championship.” The headline match, which pitted the eventual Prime co-founders against one another,...

Social media has given birth to many superstars, out of them, The Paul Brothers Jake Paul and Logan Paul became one of the most popular social media stars on the Internet.
Exactly a decade ago, the 28-year-old Logan Paul started his YouTube channel where he used to post vines and vlogs, and gradually became popular among the Gen Z crowd resulting in huge success.
Logan started getting offers from the entertainment industry and he went on to do many television shows, reality shows, and movies.
Logan has always experimented with his career and that’s one of the reasons why he became successful, in 2017 when his popularity was deteriorating and his YouTube channel wasn’t doing well.
He started an online spat with another popular social media star Ksi and they eventually ended up fighting in a boxing match which ended in a draw, they fought again the next year...

If the Sidemen get their wish, September 9, 2023 is a date that will go down in YouTube history. That’s when the U.K.-based septet will host their annual charity football match, which will be held this year at London Stadium. The 2012 Olympic venue holds about 62,000 people, and all those seats are expected to fill up when the Sidemen take on a squad filled with high-profile creators.
Charity matches have become an annual tradition for the Sidemen, who have built their brand into “Disney for Gen Z born from YouTube,” according to their manager Jordan Schwarzenberger. As the seven Sidemen — Ksi, Miniminter, Zerkaa, Tbjzl, Behzinga, Vikkstar123, and W2S — have raised their shared profile, their football events have risen with them.
The 2022 match filled up the home stadium of professional side Charlton Athletic, and the 2023 tilt will occupy an even bigger venue. Since serving as England’s Olympic hub, London...

It’s hosted by our very own Joshua Cohen (that’s me) and Lauren Schnipper. Subscribe to Creator Upload on Apple Podcasts. We’re everywhere else, too. Just go to CreatorUpload.com.
I recently hung out with a lot of kids at a family wedding in Austin. Specifically, there was a 6-year-old boy, an 8-year-old boy, a 10-year-old girl, and an 11-year-old boy. We went to McKinney Falls, tried to see a couple million Mexican free-tailed bats, and made more than one trip to whatever big box store was nearby in an attempt to get some more Prime.
Prime is the sports drink promoted and co-owned by Logan Paul and Ksi, first released in January 2022. Paul says its retail sales for that year topped $250 million. Reporter Darren Rovell says it did something like $51.7 million in sales in March of 2023.

The eighth iteration of Ksi‘s Misfits Boxing series will bring a fresh twist to the influencer boxing fad. On July 22, a showdown in Nashville will feature a main card with a unique format. Four creators — NichLmao, Swarmz, Ryan Johnston, and BDave — will occupy the ring at the same time for a “survivor tag” clash.
Each of the four creators will get their own corner of the ring, but only two combatants will fight at the same time. A social media vote will determine which two participants raise their gloves first. Then, at any point, the starting fighters can force their idle counterparts to “tag in” for them. Anyone who refuses a tag request will be eliminated, and the last fighter left standing will earn the win.
Based on the respective followings of the four participating creators, NichLmao is likely to be voted as one of the two starting fighters.

Ksi‘s rise on YouTube is a textbook example of influencer brand-building. Literally.
The 29-year-old star, who is known for his individual exploits and his membership in the creator supergroup Sidemen, is now a topic of scholastic study in his native U.K. A Reddit user shared a snapshot from an A-Level Media fact sheet, which references Ksi as an “interesting ‘product’ to study in terms of genre.”
The entry on Ksi refers to him by his real name, J.J. Olatunji. A-Level Media pupils are expected to study Olatunji’s early Let’s Play videos, his rise alongside other members of the Sidemen, his boxing career, his forays into music, and his other offline pursuits, including his beverage brand Prime Hydration.

Louis Theroux is not comfortable with the disruptor moniker. He almost recoils at the notion, sitting back in his chair, chewing over the word and its literal, historical and symbolic connotations. “It has become a cliché; it’s definitely a cliché,” he eventually says.
But then comes one of the pensive expressions Theroux is famed for. His eyes fixed behind black-rimmed glasses. A man silently arguing with himself, jostling for clarity of thought. Suddenly, a revelation. Maybe he is a disruptor after all — or at least he once was.
“There’s a sense in which I came along in my presenting work and was a bit of a disruptor,” Theroux decides. “I took elements of conventional presenting and elements of classical vérité filmmaking and combined them.”

Logan Paul‘s first year as a professional wrestler has been eventful. Since making his Wrestlemania debut last April, the elder Paul brother has made dramatic entrances into the ring, endured a knee injury, and texted with ring legends. British rapper, YouTuber, and boxer Ksi has apologized for using a slur for Pakistani and Southeast Asian people in a recent video, adding that he will “take a break from social media for a while.”
The incident occurred Sunday, April 2, with a video uploaded by the YouTube group Ksi helped found, called the Sidemen. The clip was a spoof of the long-running U.K. game show, Countdown, with the players tasked at one point with trying to form the longest word they could out of a random set of nine letters.

Logan Paul and Ksi are stepping up to the plate. The two influencers, who put aside their differences to form the beverage brand Prime Hydration, have secured a partnership with the second-most valuable franchise in Major League Baseball. Prime is now the official sports drink of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Thanks to the deal, Prime will now be available at concession stands throughout Dodger Stadium. To christen the partnership, Paul and Ksi (real name J.J. Olatunji) took a trip to Chavez Ravine to throw out the ceremonial first pitches at a Dodgers game. They also stepped into the batter’s box to take some swings. The video footage from that experience suggests that influencer baseball may not catch on in the same way influencer boxing did.

Cena toyed with Theory to start, but it only enraged the champion who responded by biting the 16-time World Champion’s ear. After an impressive few minutes from Theory, Cena locked in an Stf submission, but Theory again used his teeth to break the hold. Theory countered the AA and nailed a Ddt, later locking in a sleeper hold, but Cena fought out. After a few shoulder tackles, Cena hit his signature Five Knuckle Shuffle, but...

Ksi, the British YouTuber with more than 24M subscribers, has apologized and said he is taking a social media break after using a racial slur during his latest video.
Ksi has become known for being at the forefront of the YouTube boxing craze, but on Sunday evening appeared with his Sidemen friends in a video based on the UK game show Countdown.
In the letters and numbers game, players must create the longest word possible from a string of random vowels and consonants within a 30-second time limit.
Ksi, real name JJ Olatunji, created the word “p–i” from his selection of letters, an offensive abbreviation of Pakistan used to describe south Asians.
His Sidemen friends can be seen giggling at his word choice, but others were not amused after a clip Ksi’s slur went viral on Twitter, where users voiced outrage.
Nah @ksi you’re not funny man...

Nine of the ten Super Bowl Lvii commercials that received the most gameday views on YouTube featured celebrity endorsements. The stars who shined in those ads are known for their work in film, TV, and pop music, but four prominent YouTube stars also factored into the Super Bowl ad slate.
Logan Paul and Ksi premiered a commercial for their brand Prime Hydration. A few quarters later, MrBeast made an appearance in an NFL ad, and Pizza Hut showed off Airrack‘s record-breaking pizza.
Just before kickoff, Paul and Ksi (real name J.J. Olatunji) brought Prime to football watchers across the world. Paul touted the brand as the “fastest-growing sports drink in history,” while Ksi cheered Prime’s status among fans of the other type of football fans.
Paul announced on January 27 that he and his boxing rival-turned-business partner would air a Super Bowl ad for the company they founded together.

Prime Hydration is going to the Super Bowl. The beverage brand, established a year ago by former boxing foes Logan Paul and Ksi, will become the first creator-led company to air a commercial during the big game.
Paul announced the upcoming spot in a video on his YouTube channel. Though the elder Paul brother didn’t offer any specifics about the ad, he said that Prime’s next product would be an energy drink. The brand currently offers an array of flavors and a powder mix.
A Super Bowl commercial is a pricey gamble, but Paul believes in the product he’s promoting. In his recap of his previous year, he described Prime “an industry disruption.” In a year when he expanded his creative scope, headlined Wrestlemania, and made one or two messes for himself, he sees Prime as a defining development. “Turns out life is just a giant quest...
