She’s the most nominated songwriter of all time in the latter category with seven citations, but she has yet to win it. Zied Hakimi has been busy working on his transformation since we saw him last.
The 90 Day Fiance personality is flaunting a new look these days – a stark contrast from his once scruffier appearance.
The Tunisian native is looking leaner and more clean-cut, and his wife, Rebecca Parrott, is proudly showing off her man’s glow-up.
Rebecca, 53, posted a video on Instagram depicting before-and-after photos of Zied, 30, showing just how remarkable his transformation is.
In the throwback photo, Zied posed for a selfie, sporting his signature long, unkempt hair and scruffy facial hair, clad in a red cardigan.
The song Too Sweet by Hozier played in the background, and the lyrics appeared across the photo as the image shifted to Zied’s new and improved appearance.

Hozier has nothing but love to share with his fans after his song “Too Sweet” topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart — his first time hitting the No. 1 spot.
The singer-songwriter is also the first Irish artist — and fourth overall — to lead the chart since Sinéad O’Connor’s (who died in July 2023 at 56) “Nothing Compares 2 U.”
“I want to say a huge, huge thank you to all of the supporters, all the fans around the world,” Hozier shared in a video, posted to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday. “It’s absolutely staggering. I’m taken massively by surprise by it, and I want to say thank you for your support. I’m so thrilled that you’re enjoying ‘Too Sweet,’ and it means the world to me.”
Previously, O’Connor’s song spent four weeks at No. 1 in 1990, while the rock band U2 achieved the feat twice in 1987 with “I Still Haven...

Pour a glass of whiskey neat, because Hozier has topped the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time ever with his viral hit “Too Sweet.” After initially debuting at No. 5 and quickly climbing to No. 2, the Unheard EP track now stands as the Irish singer’s highest performing effort, besting his 2013 smash “Take Me to Church,” which peaked at No. 2.
Per Billboard, the domination of “Too Sweet” also marks the first time an Irish artist has secured a No. 1 song on the Hot 100 since Sinéad O’Connor accomplished the feat in 1990 with “Nothing Compares 2 U.” In fact, Hozier is just the fourth Irish artist in history to hit No. 1 on the chart, with O’Connor, U2, and Gilbert O’Sullivan as the only other Irish acts to have done so.

While Pilgrimage often skews towards country, folk, and indie artists, this year’s lineup also boasts acts more in the vein of pop, bluegrass, and jazz, many of whom are local or native to the Nashville area. Pilgrimage 2024 promises sets from Lukas Nelson, Coin, Charlie Worsham, Stephen Sanchez, The Cadillac Three, Cassandra Lewis, Sierra Hull, Charles Peña, and Celisse.
“We couldn’t be more excited about our announce, and this year’s lineup checks all the boxes we could hope for to celebrate our 10th anniversary,” shares Better Than Ezra frontman and Pilgrimage co-founder Kevin Griffin.

Dave Grohl paid tribute to his one-time Nirvana bandmate Paul McCartney (technically, it’s true!) with a rendition of “Live and Let Die” at the Love Rocks NYC benefit concert Thursday night, March 7.
The Foo Fighters frontman gave a characteristically full-throated performance of McCartney’s hit 1973 James Bond theme song. Though he strained a bit to hit some of the high notes during the ballad-y sections and left the “You know you did” refrain to the backing vocalists, he attacked the hard rock portions the way only Dave Grohl can.

Five years to the day since Hozier released his second album, Wasteland, Baby! the impassioned Irishman is reissuing the album with bonus tracks that display new depths to his emotions. On “Be (Acoustic),” Mr. Hozier-Byrne strips away the original’s snaky funk bass and dials back his own tumult for a gentler interpretation of the lyrics, “Be, be as you’ve always been.” It’s a different state of being, one with more hope.

Paramore singer Hayley Williams has called out the transparent display of racism shown by the Tennessee House of Representatives in blocking a resolution honoring fellow Grammy winner Allison Russell while allowing a similar resolution honoring her band to proceed.
In a statement to The Tennessean, Williams blasted the “blatant racism of our state leadership” while commenting on Republican Caucus Chair Jeremy Faison’s objection.
“For those that don’t know, Allison Russell is an incredibly talented musician and songwriter. Her music spans genres with strong ties to the Folk/Americana scene,” Williams said. “You might have seen her on the Grammy stage performing with the great Joni Mitchell. Oh, she is also Black. She’s a brilliant Black woman.”
Williams continued, “The blatant racism of our state leadership is embarrassing and cruel. Myself, as well as Paramore, will continue to encourage young people to show up to vote with equality in mind.

Tennessee Rep. Justin Jones (D-Nashville) sought to honor a pair of Nashville-based musical acts for their Grammy wins on Monday (February 12th) with ceremonial resolutions, but only Black singer-songwriter Allison Russell received an objection from a House Republican.
Jones brought forward two resolutions to honor Russell (Best American Roots Performance) and the band Paramore (Best Rock Album and Best Alternative Music Performance). In a procedural move, House Republican Caucus Chair Jeremy Faison (R-Cosby) objected to the Russell resolution.
According to The Tennessean, Faison’s objection meant that the resolution was sent back to committee, “where objected consent items often die.” According to House rules, no debate was required for the move, meaning that Faison was not forced to express his opposition to honoring the folk musician.
While the newspaper pointed out Russell has been a vocal critic of Tennessee Republicans for their anti-lgbtq+ community legislation, so has Paramore vocalist Hayley Williams.

It's a fine time to be Alexander Skarsgård and Margot Robbie. The former is coming off starring in Brandon Cronenberg's well-received sci-fi horror movie "Infinity Pool" and reprised his role as the detestable slimeball Lukas Matsson in the final season of "Succession" to great effect. Meanwhile, Robbie anchored last year's "Barbie" -- which is now a Best Picture Oscar nominee in addition to being the top-grossing film of 2023 -- and produced Emerald Fennell's internet-breaking "Saltburn" after nearly stealing Wes Anderson's "Asteroid City" with her moving single-scene appearance. Someone should really cast those two in a movie together!

Noah Kahan is back with the latest Stick Season re-release: a fresh cut of “Homesick” featuring a new verse from Sam Fender.
First announced earlier this week, the augmented version of “Homesick” follows a series of duet cuts Kahan has shared commemorating the one-year anniversary of Stick Season’s 2022 release, including collaborations with Gracie Abrams, Hozier, Kacey Musgraves, Lizzy McAlpine, and Post Malone.
Now, the duet version of “Homesick” builds upon the nostalgic reflection of the original thanks to a new verse from Fender, detailing his upbringing in Newcastle, England. In lengthy press statements, the artists explained how the collaboration grew out of a mutual respect that they had for each other.
“I come from a very different place than Sam did… but it felt like I had grown up the same,” Kahan said. “The nostalgia, pride, bitterness, confusion, and anger that Sam wrote about feeling was so similar to...
