The Curse of Oak Island Season 11 ended last night, but not before the Fellowship of the Dig vowed to continue the search and even agreed on a whole new area for exploration next year.
The guys took one last shot with the borehole drill, putting down a core a mere eight feet to the north of the Garden Shaft inside the rock feature surrounding the shaft. Geo-scientists Dr. Ian Spooner and Dr. Fred Michel had taken more water samples and declared this was the spot to drill.
Marty Lagina and the others were clearly excited, and expectations rose when they reached the target depth of just below 100 feet. Unfortunately, the core was full of sand and clay.
There was palpable disappointment amongst the guys; Marty summed it up when he said once again they’ve come to the end of a season and they “don’t have the treasure or the story in our hands.

The Curse of Oak Island Season 11 ends with the guys having one last go with the borehole drill to find a treasure vault before they wrap up for the winter.
After 24 episodes of some serious ups and downs, the guys won’t pause for even a second as they squeeze every last available second out of the season to get more clues, answers, and treasures.
This year’s main thrust was rehabilitation and excavation of the Garden Shaft; however, that project came to a crushing halt after flood water came gushing in. The Dumas miners will be working on the problem behind the scenes, but our guys are worried that an ancient flood tunnel may have been breached.

Curse of Oak Island fans start believing that the Viking involvement in transporting the Knights Templar and their treasure by ship holds some credibility. After the latest episodes, History Channel viewers become excited at the possibility that the theory is real. That is because the team visited a castle and museums in Europe.
Rick Lagina, Alex, & Others See Markings & Artifacts That Back Up The Theory
The team went across to Europe to see if they could confirm that what they found on the island was of Viking and Templar origin. Their visits included going to Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Iceland. Visiting Valkenburg Castle, they discovered some carvings made by Knights Templar prisoners. Incredibly, the goose paw and other scratchings in the walls matched some of those found on the island.

The Curse of Oak Island: Team discovers clues that a Viking ship may be the ship buried in the swamp
The Curse of Oak Island team has found evidence that the ship thought to be buried in the swamp is a Viking ship and that the Vikings helped the Templar Knights bring treasure to the island.
Time is running out for this season of Oak Island, and there’s already an end-of-semester feel about the last couple of episodes. However, Rick Lagina and the guys have gathered some great data on their field trip to Europe.
The guys have been attempting to retrace the path Templar Knights may have taken through Europe on their way to Oak Island. They have visited Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, and finally, Iceland.
Last night, the team visited a Viking Ship museum in Iceland and had the opportunity to stand on a recreated Viking ship. The ship’s builder informed the guys that this type of vessel was first built in the 11th century but...

The Curse of Oak Island team has found compelling new evidence that indicates whoever constructed the massive, secretive stone structure on Lot 5 also built the Money Pit.
If this evidence is confirmed, it will prove the theory that the Lot 5 structure was a staging post or command center for burying treasure at the Money Pit.
Tonight’s episode will be The Curse of Oak Island Season 11, Episode 24, and this show is named Hairy Situation. This episode will be the penultimate of the season.
The name Hairy Situation is likely a reference to the strand of hair found last week under one of the boulders of Nolan’s Cross. The hair was found sticking out of a piece of clay, leaving the guys scratching their heads about how it got there.
Viewers can expect the team to run tests on the hair; if it’s found to be human, that would be a helluva bombshell.

The Curse of Oak Island guys discovered symbols in Europe that connected the medieval Templar Knights to the Vikings. They also found ancient runestones, which appear to be linked to the Oak Island Money Pit.
Last night’s episode saw Rick Lagina, Alex Lagina, Peter Fornetti, and Doug Crowell continuing their European adventure.
They left Italy and the Netherlands behind to travel to the “land of the Norse,” otherwise known as Denmark, one of the Scandinavian countries where Vikings were prevalent.
The guys and historical investigators believed they were following in the footsteps of the Templar Knights, who may have traveled in the 13th century from Jerusalem up through Europe and rendezvoused with the Vikings who helped take them to North America.
The Knights were likely lugging ancient treasures taken from Solomon’s Temple, including the Ark of the Covenant and the Golden Menorah.

This week on The Curse of Oak Island, the guys start drilling for precious metals in the Baby Blob area near the Garden Shaft.
Also, on tonight’s show, Rick Lagina and a few of the guys will continue their European odyssey, uncovering links between the Templar Knights and the Vikings. And there’s an “astounding” find at Nolan’s Cross.

The Curse of Oak Island team has begun excavating a new human-made circular stone feature in the swamp near Nolan’s Cross, which could be the spot where ancient Christian relics are buried.
This week’s episode started with disappointment. The rehabilitation and excavation of the Garden Shaft was the primary focus of this season, but it has been plagued with problems.
Dumas representatives informed Rick Lagina and the guys that approximately 479 gallons of seawater were currently gushing into the shaft, and pumping out such a quantity of water would make the whole structure unstable.
That means the project is on hold while the Dumas miners figure out what is the best option. Unfortunately, we are careering toward the end of the season, which sadly means that could be the end of the project for Season 11.
Thankfully, the guys have plenty to keep them occupied, and they’ve switched focus...

The Curse of Oak Island guys have finally reached their target depth in the Garden Shaft, but there’s a major snag as they hit a potential flood tunnel.
This week’s episode of Oak Island is Season 11, Episode 20, and the show is called Wet and Wild, as the producers drop more hints about the problems at the bottom of the Garden Shaft.
The Dumas Mining crew have been gunning for a depth of 106 feet and they will hit that target on tonight’s episode. The plan was to then begin horizontal drilling toward the Baby Blob in the hope of finding the treasure.
However, a preview showed the miners scrambling for safety as they struggled to get out of the deep shaft as water came flooding in. It looked like a torrent!
Unfortunately, this could be one of the infamous and mysterious flood tunnels installed by the original depositors.

Rick Lagina & Marty Lagina Hunt For Treasure On Curse Of Oak Island
Fans who complain the show is lagging and too full of theories might feel happy to know that a particular book might help find some real treasure. Wouldn’t it be useful to find out someone had gotten hold of a book and put in illustrations and notes? It would almost be like finding a treasure map or at least clues to help find that treasure. Curse of Oak Island hasn’t produced much treasure lately, but there were smiles, especially from Rick Lagina, who heard an expert’s opinion on the theory that Vikings worked with the Templars. Thanks to new structures found, it seemed to be exciting news from the History Channel.
Curse Of Oak Island – The Expert On Vikings And Templars
It was archaeoastronomer Professor Adriano Gaspani who surprised Rick Lagina when he made a serious pronouncement. After examining the monuments, he pointed out that they seemed to have been constructed at the same time as Nolan’s Cross. Although modern explorers think they know a lot, people from ancient times also knew enough to get around the world. So, Adriano Gaspani noted that experts built the monuments.

The Curse of Oak Island team unearths a new ancient structure in the swamp, and they learn more about how the Vikings may have traveled to the island.
This week, the History Channel airs Season 11, Episode 18, of Oak Island, and the show is called May the Norse Be With You, an obvious clue that the Vikings/Norsemen will likely feature.
In the meantime, Billy Gerhardt has uncovered yet another human-made structure in the swamp, on this occasion, it’s a wooden wall. Geoscientist Ian Spooner is on hand to point out that the red clay found by the wall is the same material found under the stone roadway, which would “push it further back in time.”
Some theories on the roadway date it back 500 years and more, which could mean that this wall is incredibly old, too. We already have structures such as the paved area dating back to 1200. So,...

This week’s The Curse of Oak Island showed compelling theories of human activity dating way back to the 1200s and argued that these ancient folk may be responsible for the Oak Island mystery.
A lot of last night’s airtime was taken up by the guys worrying about the approach of Hurricane Lee and their concern it might cause damage to the Garden Shaft, Lot 5, and elsewhere.
Perhaps for that reason, this episode was heavy on the theory. First, the guys were joined in the War Room by one of Ian Spooner’s colleagues, geoscientist Aaron Satkowski, to discuss his isotope analysis of two artifacts pulled out of the ground in the Money Pit area.
Aaron examined two pieces of wood, including an ax, excavated from the spoils of the old RF1 caisson at about 180 feet.

The Curse of Oak Island guys have found a direct link between the strange stone structures on Lot 5 and the Money Pit.
This week’s show is Season 11, Episode 14, and the History Channel has named the episode Rick and Mortar.
Much of the focus for this week will likely be aimed at Lot 5, on the western side of the island, and the two stone structures, one circular and one rectangular, that are buried there. These stone features are intriguing because of their large size and the fact that they were deliberately hidden and concealed.
This seems to be where all the important artifacts are coming from at the moment. Recently, archaeologists uncovered pottery, coins, and 500-year-old Venetian glass beads.
However, most of the artifacts are coming back from about the mid-18th century, around the 1750s and 60s, a few decades before the initial discovery of the Money Pit in...
