Georgia grew up in the Welsh coastal town of Penarth where she spent her weekends writing and filming twisted movies before obtaining a BA/MA in Law from Oxford University at age 20. After an unexpected, albeit wholly educational, stint working on a prison pig farm where she learned to rap, Georgia joined rock punk band 'Weapons', gaining notoriety at SXSW and Glastonbury, with a critically acclaimed debut record playing on both sides of the pond. Writing / producing being her primary passion, Georgia wrote articles for several publications; produced/presented three seasons of the Travel Channel's hit show 'Earthwalkers'; wrote comedy segments for Hollywood's Bitesize TV; became the supervising producer/writer for Larry King's Collectors Café series; wrote and produced an award-winning action thriller short; and has enjoyed a career writing multiple screenplays, TV series and pitch decks for production companies, studios, as well as ghost writing for celebrities. Since founding Darklight Entertainment with her husband writer/director J.Mackye Gruber, Georgia is producing a slate of projects under their flagship.
