Junior Courtney(I)
- Producer

- Production Manager
Junior began his creative interest at a young age and went on to study Musical Theatre at the Arts Educational Schools for London. During this time he worked on several independent music videos and short films, where he then established his love and passion for producing life telling stories and cinematic films.
In 2009, Junior made a random turn in careers and worked for American Express - the world's leading financial entity for prestige and bespoke credit services. By the age of 25 he rocketed his career by being appointed the Head of Implementation for American Express' Australian Market, where he lead the division and introduced structure and training material for the business.
After a short but very successful career in the finance industry, Junior decided to take his expertise in management and leadership back to the creative industry and continued to produce on a full-time and independent basis, creating several projects for other independent productions.
From 2012 he entered the world of television and began to work on the UK's most biggest and popular shows such as; Celebrity Juice, X-Factor, Got to Dance and Britain's Got Talent. Later that year he attended Producer Masterclasses in London, L.A, and at the New York Film Academy in Paris, which was lead by the legendary writer and director, Quinten Tarantino. Junior achieved a Diploma in Practical Filmmaking, Production Management and a Higher Education Certificate in Film Production.
From there, his reputation as an independent producer rocketed and he began heading up several short film projects, music videos, documentaries and feature length productions. By 2013, Junior formed the London Based independent film company, Kapowski Films, and heads up several major productions on behalf of the BAFTA award winning film company, Marble Eye Motion Pictures.
Junior has recently teamed up with Creative Directors George Cowin and Sam Ewen of BryMack, and they worked together on the recent successful short independent feature, Will You Kill Me Now? An urban-fantasy based film achieving awareness for anti-bullying internationally.
Junior's experience doesn't only spread across the film and finance world, but he also runs his own UK based business in Industrial Architecture and Supply of Bespoke Steel. With his extensive set of talents spreading across different industries, Junior utilises his experience in helping today's modern filmmakers by offering opportunities to showcase their talent and help them develop within their area of expertise.
With his understanding of today's tastes and trends, he is able to help develop a project into the direction where he knows that it will appeal to audiences worldwide. Junior likes to focus on making films that can educate the audience to the different lifestyle, cultures and societies around the world, allowing the viewers to emotionally connect with the story.
