Blue star Duncan James has said that bandmate Lee Ryan becoming a public hate figure following his Celebrity Big Brother stint is "from a business point of view quite a good thing".

The singer told Digital Spy that Ryan is having the last laugh after causing upset with his treatment of Casey Batchelor and Jasmine Waltz, as it has "opened lots of doors" for the band and is "making [them] lots of money".

Blue star Simon Webbe has told Digital Spy that bandmate Lee Ryan is "finding it hard" to cope with the fallout from his Celebrity Big Brother stint.

Ryan has received death threats over his love triangle with Jasmine Waltz and Casey Batchelor since coming out of the house, and this week said that he felt "like [he'd] murdered someone".

Speaking to Digital Spy, Webbe claimed that Ryan is "not very good with attention" and is uncomfortable with the press staking him out.

"He's not very good with attention, Lee. He's finding it hard at the minute," the singer said.

Faiers said of her time in the house: "I am never ill in my life. Two weeks I was ill in the house, on antibiotics. I was gutted and it changed my whole experience."

She added why she thought she got on so well with everyone, saying: "Being in there I was lovely to everyone, I didn't argue with anyone and they all helped me when I was really ill."

The singer was joined by his Blue bandmates on ITV's This Morning today (January 29), where he said that he was embarrassed to watch back his love triangle with Casey Batchelor and Jasmine Waltz.

He said: "It's hard to watch... but I did have these genuine feelings for Jasmine and with Casey I just wanted to be her mate. I'd just never met a girl like that, we had so much banter that I got on really well with."

Blue singer Duncan James has hit out against the "absolutely horrible" and "malicious" death threats made to bandmate Lee Ryan following his Celebrity Big Brother appearance.

Ryan claimed that he had been repeatedly threatened since his eviction on Sunday (January 26) over his treatment of house love interests Jasmine Waltz and Casey Batchelor.

James has now taken to Ryan's defence, stating that his friend is "sincerely sorry" and imploring people to "remember that this was [just] reality TV".

"It has been intense for him since he has left the house," James wrote in his Metro column. "We are very sad to have to address the death threats that Lee has been receiving - it is absolutely horrible to see such nasty threats being sent to our best friend.

"For some people sending such abuse, they may not mean what they are saying, but it's very serious when you are talking about somebody's well-being.

Celebrity Big Brother housemate Lee Ryan has denied that he is leading on Casey Batchelor.

The singer's comments came after evicted housemate Jasmine Waltz accused him of playing with the glamour model's feelings when she made a brief return to the house yesterday (January 25).

The American actress, who became close to Lee during her time on the Channel 5 show, told him: "You're hurting her… you're hurting me! Casey has true feelings for you, you're leading her on."

After Jasmine had left, Lee defended his behaviour in a conversation with Ollie Locke and Dappy.

He told them: "I'm not being really affectionate the same way I was with Jasmine, the way I look at Jasmine, the way I stroked her face and kissed her, I don't do that with Casey. With me it's two totally different things.

"I'm not leading her on. Casey knows exactly how I feel and she's cool with it.

The two-day task challenges housemates to ignore surprise guests by remaining completely still until a bell tolls.

Lee failed to remain frozen when former housemate Jasmine Waltz returned to the house to confront the Blue star over his relationship with Casey Batchelor.

The singer protested when Jasmine blasted the pair for their flirtatious behaviour, telling the American actress that it was merely banter between friends.

Former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Jasmine Waltz has re-entered the house as part of a task.

In scenes to be aired during tonight's show (January 26), the American actress confronts Lee Ryan and Casey Batchelor during the 'For Whom the Bell Tolls' task.

The two-day task challenges housemates to ignore surprise guests by remaining completely still until a bell tolls.

After announcing that she was back, Jasmine targeted Casey, telling the glamour model that she was coming across as a "bunny boiler".

Jasmine then turned her attention to Lee, asking the Blue singer if he was aware of all of the things he had said to her, before calling him out on his bathroom antics with Casey

The Celebrity Big Brother housemates have revealed their true feelings about their fellow contestants in their latest tasks.

The group took on the #Selfies and Words of Wisdom challenges in the run-up to last night's (January 24) eviction.

Upon waking, they found a camera in the centre of the living area, as part of Big Brother's plan to keep their social media skills in shape.

After an initial group shot, Jim Davidson was asked to "pucker up" with the fakest housemate. The entertainer chose Luisa Zissman, who defiantly said she doesn't care if people don't like her.

Would-be couple Lee Ryan and Casey Batchelor were voted the most attractive housemates and lined up for a swimwear shot, while Luisa chose Dappy and Jim to join her in a picture as the housemates she would have nominated if she could.

Between tasks, Dappy and Jim speculated on who might win the show.

Sam Faiers left the Celebrity Big Brother house to attend a hospital appointment yesterday, a show spokesperson has confirmed.

Last week, reports suggested that the Only Way Is Essex star had left the compound after experiencing an apparent allergic reaction. However, Channel 5 clarified that Sam was treated in the Diary Room "for a medical issue of a personal nature".

Today, the network confirmed reports that Sam left the house yesterday (Friday, January 24) in order to seek medical help.

A representative for Celebrity Big Brother said: "Sam left the house yesterday morning to attend an appointment with a consultant for an ongoing medical concern.

"Whilst out of the house she was accompanied at all times by a member of Endemol staff who ensured contact with the outside world remained at a minimum."

On Wednesday, evicted housemate Liz Jones revealed that 24-year-old Sam had been suffering from an unidentified illness since soon after she entered the house.

Blue singer Lee has been involved in a love triangle with Casey and evicted housemate Jasmine, and has since grown closer to Casey in recent days.

Jasmine has now blasted Lee for his lack of "self-control" since her departure, and is now unsure if they can get together after he leaves the house.

Last night's (January 21) show saw Lee and Casey spooning in bed, while Casey jokingly offered him sexual favours.

Celebrity Big Brother's Huskies have passed the latest shopping task.

The task saw housemates Lee Ryan, Casey Batchelor, Luisa Zissman and Dappy dressing up as husky dogs and pulling a sled around the garden, which was covered in fake snow.

Big Brother gathered the housemates to reveal that the Huskies had not been staying in a kennel after all, and instead had been enjoying treats at The Mutt's Nuts.

Whether or not the group passed the task was down to the Huskies not getting discovered.

As the Huskies did not get rumbled by the Explorers (Sam Faiers, Ollie Locke, Jim Davidson, Linda Nolan and Liz Jones), they passed this week's shopping task and, as a consequence, are receiving a luxury shopping budget.

Big Brother had previously hinted that things wouldn't be "all too bad" for the Huskies as there was a "surprise twist" in the works.

The housemate and Blue singer is shown declaring his hatred of the Channel 5 reality show in tonight's (January 21) episode.

After Big Brother told the housemates that Dappy, Lee, Luisa Zissman and Casey Batchelor had to sleep in the kennel as they were 'huskies', Lee said: "I hate this f**king programme. I wish I never f**king did it."

As part of this week's North Pole shopping task, the Huskies - Dappy, Lee Ryan, Luisa Zissman and Casey Batchelor - were treated to a night in a pub but had to convince the other housemates, the Explorers, that they were spending the night in a squalid kennel.

Jim decided to go on hunger strike in solidarity and - when the Huskies were allowed to spend time in the garden - revealed that the Explorers had been provided with cherry brandy which they didn't drink.

"I did," Linda revealed. "I didn't drink the end, though, because it was horrible. But the top was [nice]. Initially it was like a liqueur coffee, but the cherry brandy was really strong. I couldn't drink that."

Celebrity Big Brother introduced a twist to this week's North Pole shopping task last night.

The Huskies - Luisa Zissman, Dappy, Lee Ryan and Casey Batchelor - have had to endure tasks involving pulling the other housemates on a sled, drinking ice cold shots, and using their mouths to remove fish from lines.

However, Big Brother had a surprise treat for them last night - which they had to keep a secret from their fellow housemates.

The quartet were initially told that they would not be allowed to sleep in the warmth of the house and would have to bed down in their "dog kennel" in the garden.

They were all unhappy about the news, worried that they would not be able to sleep and would not have any food apart from perhaps slop.

"I don't know why you're suffering like this," Linda Nolan said in solidarity. "Maybe we're going to suffer some s**t.

The latest part of the shopping task saw the Huskies - Luisa, Dappy, Lee Ryan and Casey Batchelor - being asked to use their mouths to remove fish and seafood from lines being pulled by Ollie Locke and Sam Faiers.

However, as soon as Ollie began to reel in his line, Luisa started to squeal and announced that she could not take part.

"I can't do it," she repeated. "I'm so sorry, I can't do it. I'm so sorry, Dappy. Ugh, I can't do this, I can't do this."

The news meant that Dappy was forced to take on their fish, with lots of encouragement from Ollie, who told him: "You're doing it for everyone. You're doing it so well mate... You're literally the dream."
