Former Bachelorette Star Has Message For Daisy Kent

But unlike Daisy, JoJo Fletcher jumped right back into the dating pool immediately. She was named Season 12 Bachelorette. Daisy Kent was reportedly offered the opportunity to be Bachelorette for Season 21 but turned it down. The network then went with Jenn Tran.

A decade ago, Nick Viall, “fresh off” his first appearance on Andi Dorman’s Bachelorette, met Luann de Lesseps, and he confirmed that the veteran The Real Housewives of New York City star flirted with him. At the time, his exposure to TV was limited, whereas she’d already become well-known on the Bravo show.
Nick Viall Recently Caught Up With Luann de Lesseps
In 2014, a 34-year-old met a well-known face from Bravo, and Luann was nearing 50 years old. While he wasn’t a famous name on reality TV, she certainly was. So, he probably felt a bit flattered that she took any notice of him at all. The news that she got a bit flirty with him arrived via his popular podcast, The Viall Files when he caught up with her on March 21.

Former Bachelorette Charity Lawson recently revealed the shocking truth about the franchise’s Fantasy Suite dates. Keep reading for all the juicy details.
Overnight Dates Make Or Break Relationships
The Fantasy Suite dates are unique to the Bachelor Nation franchise. It’s time for the lead to get closer to his final contestants. At that point in the show, there are usually only three contestants left. They are given a key to a hotel room, and they can decide whether to join the lead in the Fantasy Suite or not.
Cameras and microphones aren’t allowed in the room, making it the only true time contestants have alone time with the lead. Intimacy may or may not occur, and viewers may or may not be clued into whether intimacy occurred. Nick Viall famously called out Bachelorette Andi Dorfman on live TV for having s*x with him in the Fantasy Suite,...

Since The Bachelor is now in its 27th season, it’s safe to say the show is doing something right. That being said, there’s no denying that certain aspects of the show could use some improvement. While there have been changes since The Bachelor’s 2002 debut, one lasting thing that has people puzzled are hometown visits. The general consensus seems to be that they should be scrapped.

Every season, a few of the contestants bring the Bachelor back to their hometown to meet their family and friends. Typically, this is filmed over a series of meet-ups, including plenty of interrogation from the contestants’ parents. While it makes for some interesting reality TV viewing, it doesn’t seem to ever really influence the final decision. And in fact, it can be pretty awkward at times.

In 2014, Nick Viall revealed on national TV that Bachelorette Andi Dorfman had slept with him during their time together on the show. Heartbroken that she didn’t choose him as her winner, Viall asked why she “made love” with him; she said him talking about their sex life was “below the belt.” The episode invited think pieces discussing whether Viall had slut-shamed Dorfman.

The star of “The Bachelor” Season 27, Zach Shallcross, broke his own rule not to sleep with any of his final contestants in the fantasy suites. When he was intimate with his runner-up, Gabi Elnicki, he decided it was the appropriate choice to tell the other women that they had slept together. Viewers weren’t shocked when this decision blew up in Shallcross’ face, angering Elnicki, finalist Ariel Frenkel and, the eventual winner, Kaity Biggar.

Anyone who watches The Bachelor knows that many of the contestants are not there “for the right reasons,” which usually means that they appear on the show to get famous and not to find love. But the contestants aren’t the only ones who bend the truth a bit.
Many reality shows use editing or create storylines to make things more interesting. Some purposefully create drama or certain feuds so that viewers will tune in.
The Bachelor is not the first and will not be the last to push a certain narrative. But who would think that the hometown dates are not 100% real?

Many couples from The Bachelor franchise have gone on to live happily ever after. Well, maybe not many. Let’s say a few. Many did not. Andi Dorfman isn't giving her first impression rose to the upcoming season of The Bachelorette. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight published on June 13, the Bachelor Nation star shared her disapproval for next season's format, which will feature two bachelorettes instead of one. "I'd like to see two men go at it. I don't know. It gives me a little sexist vibe there that I don't really love." First introduced into America’s living rooms in 2014 as a suitor on Andi Dorfman’s season of “The Bachelorette,” Viall left the show heartbroken when he was not chosen to receive the final rose — and not without controversy. In 2015, Viall returned, once again, as a contestant on “The Bachelorette,” this time on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season, and once again, he was the rejected runner-up. In between the shirtless workout b-roll, the vibrator that seemed to be in every room, and all of the Queen Victoria drama featured during The Bachelor's premiere, there was one thing that all the contestants couldn't stop talking about: the prayer led by season 25 lead Matt James.
Kicking off his opening address to the group of women with a prayer set a tone for the rest of the season for both the contestants and the audience. Matt immediately makes it clear that his Christian faith is important to him, saying that praying "recenters" him when he's anxious. The Bachelor franchise certainly likes to bring back past contestants for different seasons and spinoffs, and new Bachelorette Clare Crawley is definitely one of those. Her appearance on The Bacheloretteis actually her fifth time on one of the franchise's shows. Here's a brief recap of Clare's history on all the Bachelor shows to date.
The Bachelor
Clare made her debut in 2014, when she was a contestant on Juan Pablo Galavis's season of The Bachelor. She made a big impression, and, in fact, she made it all the way to the finale, where she and Nikki Ferrell were the last two women competing for Juan Pablo's heart. In the end, though, he didn't choose her as the winner, choosing Nikki instead. Upon learning this news, Clare refused a "comforting" goodbye hug from Juan Pablo, instead calling him out, apparently over something he'd said to her that viewers never got to hear.

Before he rode off into the sunset with Caelynn Miller-Keyes, Dean Unglert was interested in pursuing a romance with The Bachelorette Andi Dorfman. The 29-year-old revealed on the Help! I Suck at Dating podcast that prior to dating his current girlfriend, he slid into the DMs of none other than the former Bachelorette. Of course, Dean only divulged this information after some poking and prodding on Jared Haibon's behalf. He joked that answering the question is "just asking for me to get in trouble with my girlfriend!" "I think before I had gone into Paradise for the second time I might've slid into Andi Dorfman's DMs, or maybe I...

Nick Viall still hasn’t forgot about that time that Andi Dorfman picked Josh Murray over him on The Bachelorette. In fact, he keeps bringing it up and did so again over Easter weekend while commenting on a post made by Josh Murray. This isn’t the first time in recent weeks that Viall has mentioned Andi Dorfman or her season of...

The finale for the current season of “The Bachelor” is still one week away, but the new star of “The Bachelorette” has already been revealed.
Clare Crawley, a 38-year-old hair stylist from Sacramento, Calif., will lead “The Bachelorette” franchise during its 16th season. Crawley, announcing the news on “Good Morning America,” said she just found out this past weekend that she would be the reality show’s new leading lady.
Crawley is no stranger to the franchise, having first appeared during Juan Pablo Galavis’ season of “The Bachelor” in 2014. Although she was the runner-up, another contestant Andi Dorfman was selected from Galavis’ season as the next “Bachelorette.” Crawley then appeared on the first two seasons of “Bachelor in Paradise” and the global spinoff entitled, “Bachelor Winter Games.”
Crawley can vouch that she’s found love on TV before, after leaving “Bachelor Winter Games” with an engagement with Frenchman Benoit Beauséjour-Savard.

Jesse Palmer Forgets Karen Lindsay’s Name
Former NFL player Jesse Palmer accidentally called the wrong name during his season as The Bachelor in 2004. In a hilariously panicked moment, he pulled Chris Harrison aside to tell him that he had forgotten Karen’s name and had called Katie [Gehart] instead. “I froze and forgot,” he told a bemused Harrison. “We gotta do that again.”
Trista Rehn Reveals Some Intimate Details
The first ever Bachelorette, Trista Rehn, now Trista Sutter, revealed that she’d “never had an orgasm during real intercourse” in the fantasy suite.

Their motivations varied. Amy Robach wanted to mark her sixth cancer-free anniversary by returning to the race alongside husband Andrew Shue. Bachelorette fan favorite Tyler Cameron was eager to see what he could push his body to do, while Andi Dorfman, another alum of the ABC love hunt, kind of fell into the sport when a busy schedule kept her from getting to the gym. Those separate pushes drove each star to lace up their New Balance and Asics sneaks and join some 50,000 others at the Staten Island starting line of the Tcs New York City Marathon yesterday. For Robach, it was a simple glance at the calendar that drove her back into training. "When I found out...

Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray's relationship ended years ago; however, their drama still lives on. The former Bachelorette proved this to be true on Wednesday's episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. During the interview, Andy Cohen asked the season 10 star if she could say three nice things about her former fiancé. "No," the Georgia native replied. However, this wasn't the only time she talked about her ex. At one point, a caller asked the reality TV star what she thought of the allegations Amanda Stanton, a fellow franchise member who also dated Murray, made in her book Now Accepting Roses. "I thought everything she said was pretty...

What happens in the fantasy suite, stays in the fantasy suite... sometimes. Before The Bachelorette leads Kaitlyn Bristowe and Hannah Brown made a point to normalize talking about having sex with their suitors, others like Andi Dorfman preferred to keep the cameras (and audiences at home) out of the bedroom. So when Andi interrupted Monday's two-part finale finale to reflect on her own After the Finale Rose episode, fans were quickly reminded of that time Nick Viall made a shocking confession that would go down in Bachelor Nation infamy. "Ohhhh sheeeeet .... here's to hoping tonight goes a little smoother for our gal tonight!!!!" Andi,...

Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. We've got some very sad news for you guys in this report, especially if you were a fan of former The Bachelor headliner Chris Soules. You guys remember him, right? He appeared on Andi Dorfman's season of the Bachelorette. Then he went on to headline his own series of The Bachelor following Andi's season. This was around 2014 and 2015. Well, things have not been going so great for Chris since then. He apparently got into some major, major trouble back in 2017 when he hit a guy in his hometown of Iowa and then fled the scene. The guy he hit later died! Chris was charged with leaving the scene of the fatal car accident that eventually killed Kenneth Mosher. In November of 2018, Chris entered a conditional guilty plea to the crime of: Leaving the Scene of an Accident Resulting in Serious Injury, which is an aggravated misdemeanor.

Heading into the new season of The Bachelorette, the team behind the latest cycle of ABC's juggernaut of a reality TV franchise had promised that their star, Hannah Brown, would be the most relatable female lead yet.
The Bachelorette has certainly seen its share of fearless female stars in the last 14 seasons. The women of the hit franchise have had to battle systemically sexist responses to their televised choices about relationships and intimacy in a way that the men of The Bachelor do not. (Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe, particularly, come to mind.) But now, with season 15's Brown — a ...

These exes are letting bygones be bygones. Nick Viall opened up about a recent conversation he had with his ex Kaitlyn Bristowe that was related to a "tongue-in-cheek" comment she made a few weeks ago. These women included JoJo Fletcher, Rachel Lindsay, Becca Kufrin, Jillian Harris, Emily Maynard, Andi Dorfman and others, including Kaitlyn. The Bachelorette's Instagram page got everyone pumped for the reunion special with a series of Instagram videos, one of which was a word association game. The...

It's not a Bachelor finale without some colorful commentary from Andi Dorfman. As Colton Underwood's season came to an end Tuesday night, one memorable member of Bachelor Nation decided to tune in and sound off on what she was watching. In true Andi fashion, she kept it oh-so-real. "Ok, I'm kind of confused because I thought she left and he jumped the fence but now they're talking. So she's back? Someone help me out here please," she shared while drinking a martini. "I still have not figured out what's going on but I figured out why you guys drink so much during these shows. It's because it's so confusing that so you might as well blame it on the...

This season of The Bachelor has been filled with all sorts of drama, injuries, and tragic backstories, but there's one thing it's missing: the always-iconic two-on-one date. And guess what? We're not getting one.
The two-on-one date usually takes place four or five episodes into a season, once villains have been established or there's a clear-cut rivalry between two cast members. The purpose of the date is less about the Bachelor or Bachelorette connecting with his or her suitors, and more about settling a score between two contestants with strong personalities.
Over the years, jilted men and women have been left on islands, in the desert, and even stranded on glaciers to fend for themselves while their opponent rides happily into the sunset with the show's star. It's a time-honored tradition that is rarely skipped - seasons for Andi Dorfman and Juan Pablo Galavis (the villain of his own season...

After her ex Josh Murray compared her to the devil, Andi Dorfman took to Instagram to seemingly address the diss. The former Bachelorette star posted a picture of a sign with the following words of wisdom: "You can't control someone else's negative behavior but you can control how long you participate in it." The season 10 star then captioned the post with a few simple words. "Thank you, next," she wrote. "Here's to all you out there kicking ass and moving forward! I see you out there! The future is looking [sparkles emoji]. #WednesdayWisdom." The exes' most recent drama unfolded on Monday just before the premiere of Colton Underwood's season of...

Josh Murray seems to be taking some heat from Bachelor Nation. Less than 24 hours after the reality star shared a social media post comparing his ex Andi Dorfman to the devil, the season 10 winner took to Instagram to respond to the related backlash. "You know, I got hit up with a lot of messages. I haven't been looking at my social media. Apparently, my post made some waves in a bad way," he told his followers in an Instagram Stories video. "I thought it was just funny. I thought it was humorous, but apparently it wasn't very humorous. I guess I'm not very funny. I was trying to be funny in a half-hearted way, but everybody takes it so seriously and that's my fault. I should know...

Forget shade—Josh Murray just threw down the gauntlet. Moments before Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor premiered on ABC, Murray posted an Instagram photo that blatantly compared his ex-fiancée Andi Dorfman to the Devil. Dorfman was the leading lady on The Bachelorette back in 2014 and accepted Murray's proposal over Nick Viall. Viall and Dorfman had some pretty awkward encounters after the show (cue her calling him out on their night together in the fantasy suite), but Viall ended up going on to become the star of his own season of The Bachelor. As much of a happy-ish moment that was for Murray and Dorfman 5 years ago, the former pro athlete doesn't reflect...

Happy Monday, Bachelor Nation fans. Unfortunately, we've got a bit of more bad news for you guys in this report. It turns out that one of the former "The Bachelor" stars has gotten himself caught up in a pretty serious legal situation! The former Bachelor I'm speaking of is none other than Chris Soules. He was The Bachelor in the 19th season which debuted way back in January 2015. He was selected to be the new Bachelor after finishing third during Andi Dorfman's Bachelorette season 10 which premiered back in May 2014. According to the folks over at the desmoinesregister.com , Chris got into a fatal car wreck in Buchanan County in Iowa on Monday, April 24, 2017. He called the police shortly after it happened. However, it sounds like he waited too long because he's now on trial for charges that accuse him of leaving the scene of the accident. This is very...
