Armaan Ralhan, who received positive response for his portrayal of Air Force officer in the action drama ‘Shoorveer’, can be seen essaying the role of a frontline worker in the recently released track ‘Tujhe Bhi Chand’ from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s album ‘Sukoon’.
The actor considers it an honour to play the character of real-life heroes, who were fighting undeterred during the thick of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Armaan plays a doctor and deals with the ordeals of the deadly pandemic and how love and hope keep him going. The actor revealed how he wore PPE kits and shot the song and how it is a tribute to all the frontline workers who helped us combat the ghastly times.
The actor shared, “As the song is about the pandemic, we wore a real PPE kit to complete the shoot and I realised how tough it was. It was an honour to...

Shreya Ghoshal has shared her experience of working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for ‘Sukoon’. The second song from the album, ‘Tujhe Bhi Chand’ sung by Shreya, is out and she says that it is a tribute to doctors and healthcare workers, who worked day and night during the pandemic.
She said: “Working with Slb Sir is a different and memorable experience. Every project with him is a new learning. The album ‘Sukoon’ is another masterpiece by him and I’m glad I got the opportunity to work with him on 2 of the songs from the album( ‘Tujhe Bhi Chand’ and ‘Qaraar’).”
‘Tujhe Bhi Chand’ depicts the story of two doctors working day and night for the patients during the pandemic lockdown. And it shows how they both slowly start liking each other and the more interesting aspect is that because of the masks they never see each other’s face...

It is usually assumed that filmmakers make films for the entertainment of the audience however, here the ‘scene’ looks different! Right from the first frame it is the makers who seem to have enjoyed the most – in making what they have made and in seeing the outcome of their ‘bundle of joy’. We have all seen films of different genres in horror too including zombie horror, zombie comedy, and what not, Phone Bhoot might find its place in the wacky horror comedy genre. Wacky because the writer has poured his heart out laughing at this own humourous looking (and sounding) referenced scenes.
Phone Bhoot comes from one of the most reputed productions which has most of the successful and entertaining titles to their credit and directed by one of the ‘Mirzapur’ helmers. It boasts of the biggest Bollywood actress – Katrina Kaif along with the Gully Boy and Gehraiyaan fame Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter.

Ajeeb Dastaans(Netflix)
Starring Jaideep Ahlawat, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Konkona Sen Sharma, Nusrat Bharucha,Abhishek Bannerjee, Inayat Verma, Shefali Shah, Pavan Kaul
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, Raj Mehta, Neeraj Ghaywan, and Kayoze Irani
This is a diverse provocative(sometimes too consciously so) bouquet of stories of four women in search of an emotional and physical fulfillment that eludes them because…well, they have obligations. Don’t we all!
Uneven in quality, some of the plotting conceits verge on the absurd. To begin with, let’s take the first story Majnu directed by Shashank Khaitan. It is a passionless passion-tale about a marriage of convenience between a moneyed dangerous criminal Babloo(Jaideep Ahlawat) and Lipashi(Fatima Sana Sheikh). The film opens with one of Babloo’s henchman making a preposterous pass at his Bhabhaiji, and never recovers its equilibrium.
Once the self-consciously handsome Raj(Armaan Ralhan) enters the couple’s loveless...

Entertainment While ‘Geeli Pucchi’ and ‘Ankahi’ make an impact, ‘Khilauna’ and ‘Majnu’ end up being shockingly bad.Saraswati DatarScreenshotAjeeb Daastaans, an anthology of four short films, is a strange combination of two really good films and two that make films my classmates made in college seem great. Now streaming on Netflix, Ajeeb Daastaans is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment. Directors Shashank Khaitaan, Raj Mehta, Neeraj Ghaywan and Kayoze Irani are at the helm of four stories Majnu, Khilauna, Geeli Pucchi and Ankahi. The premise or rather promise is that each story brings a shocking, horrifying and/or heartbreaking twist in the tale we never saw coming. Unfortunately, Shashank Khaitaan and Raj Mehta tell tales that seem so self-conscious in their desire to shock that they end up being quite shockingly bad. Ajeeb Daastans is rescued by its brilliant third film, Geeli Pucchi directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, who elicits...
