Janell Islas

Janell Islas is a native of Port Lavaca Texas. She was
raised by her grandparents. Her grandfather was the personal assistant to a
bank owner, and her grandmother was a homemaker. She went to school there until she started high school. At that point, she went to private school for a while, then transferred to Channelview, TX, where her mother and
father lived and had their own business in Houston, and attended Channelview High School. She was very active in theater and sports such as cheer leading and tennis. Throughout elementary, middle/Jr. high, and high school, she was in many clubs,
like student government, theater arts club, Christian club, marine biology club, historical club, and so on. She also participated in many
activities, such as band (french horn), choir, art, theater arts & drama, volleyball, basketball, tennis, track & field, softball, and
cheerleader. After graduating from high school, she started college at the age of 17. She received a theater arts scholarship to attend San Jacinto College in Houston, TX. She had been through 6 years of training in theater and acting. Janell also
completed her formal education and graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of Houston. Janell is an avid traveler and has lived in many cities, like Seattle, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles and so on. Once she got to California, she decided to turn her profession into the entertainment business by acting. She has had theatrical experiences and classes of 6 years and on. Janell started out with student feature films to get the feel for it, and now has started to get into bigger productions, such as the "Fast and Furious" series and HBO "Looking" series, along with independent movies like Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (2015). Janell Islas is a hard worker and dedicated actress who is building her credentials quickly and becoming a person who will soon be well-known. She is an individual who has her own style and personality, who will make other people distinguish her from the rest.
