Steve Jennings has been playing and recording music since 1980 and has
divided his time since 1996 between financial services and
entertainment while developing contacts and relationships in both
industries. In 1996 Steve successfully completed NASD/SIPC training. He
entered the financial services industry as an account executive for WB
McKee, a registered broker dealer firm. During this time he continued
to make entertainment industry contacts and work closely with people
heavily entrenched in film and television. Among many of those he
worked with you will find Monty Ross, Supervising Producer, 40 Acres &
A Mule Filmworks, Murry Jordan, Supervising Producer, Barbour/Langley
Productions (Cops) and Tom Kobayashi, Vp and General Manager of
Skywalker Sound division of Lucas Arts, where he helped broker shares
of EdNet, the company that pioneered globe spanning professional
digital communications for the entertainment and advertising industries
while working with Strategic Resource Management. During his years in
the financial industry Steve maintained a hands-on approach to the
entertainment industry by working with I.A.T.S.E. the (International
Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees) Local 127 in Dallas and then
Local 193 in Illinois where he worked with industry juggernauts such as
Kenny Rogers, Bob Dylan, Tool, Kiss, Disturbed, Brad Paisley, James
Taylor, and Cirque de Soleil to name a few. As well Steve has recorded
with Producers and Engineers; David Radford,(Forever Endeavor Horse
Heads N.Y. and Austin Mastering Labs Austin Tx.) and Randall Merryman,
(Riverside Studios Nashville Tn) Now working closely with many well
known Artists, Producers, and Record Labels Steve has found a new home
at 101 Distribution where he gets to combine his passions for music,
communication, networking, and technical support to help artists
achieve their desired results throughout the artistic process from
pre-production to shelf placement.
