Updated: The Night Shift star Eoin Macken has been tapped as the male lead opposite Natalie Zea in NBC’s drama pilot La Brea. Another NBC series star, Chicago P.D.‘s Jon Seda, is one of three actors, originally cast in the project a year ago and released in June, who have been brought back to reprise their roles, along with Veronica St. Clair and Chiké Okonkwo.
Jack Martin and Lily Santiago also have been newly cast in the pilot, joining Zyra Gorecki.

Exclusive: Finding Carter alum Caleb Ruminer is set as a lead in NBC drama pilot La Brea, and Angel Parker (Marvel’s Runaways), Catherine Dent (The Shield), Veronica St. Clair (Unbelievable) and Jag Bal (Beeba Boys) have been cast as series regulars in the project from writer David Appelbaum (The Enemy Within), Keshet Studios and Universal Television.

The second season of MTV's Finding Carter TV show ended on a cliffhanger, with Tuesday's season two finale episode, "Atonement." Since MTV has neither cancelled nor renewed Finding Carter, as of yet, will fans also be left hanging?

Crash (Caleb Ruminer), you are dead to us. We don't care how cute you are on Finding Carter. You shot Max (Alex Saxon), and that's just unforgiveable. At the end of last week's shocking episode, Carter (Kathryn Prescott) was all set to run away with her boyfriend Crash, but wanted to say goodbye to her Bff Max one last time so he could get a message to her "mom"/kidnapper Lori (Milena Govich) before she disappeared.
