- As the 2nd engineer and stage hand for CBGB's on the Bowery, James' introduction to production sound was clearly through live music during the space rock and post-punk heyday. After returning to school for a degree in public policy and the environmental sciences, James closed out the last of his post-production and implementation in sound design for new media, software development, and games. Since his studio in the original Chelsea Arts building has been flawlessly received as a talent and go to for pristine location dialog. - James began his work in production purely by happenstance, after working in-house in spaces such as the CBGBs on the Bowery, Platinum Island Studios, and Sunshine Interactive. With the rise of more casual and mobile games and the need for sound design, James returned to New York after completing coursework in the computer sciences. As more still photographers moved their sense of composition towards the moving image, James followed the coattails of these early productions by moving back to production sound. There he has remained.
