Babil Khan’s now-deleted Instagram video had grabbed several eyeballs, sparking concerns for his mental health. The 26-year-old actor had shared a video wherein he could be seen breaking down and calling Bollywood a horrible industry. He also named some celebrities in the video, which led to fans getting more suspicious. This was not the first time that the actor had battled a tumultuous time.

After his father, and veteran actor Irrfan Khan, passed away on April 29, 2020, Babil Khan had opened up about having a tough time while coping with his father’s death. According to Bollywood Shaadi, Babil had revealed in a throwback interview with Bollywood Bubble on how he went on a spiral one week after his father passed away. The Qala actor recalled locking himself in his room for one and a half months.

Recently, Babil Khan, the son of the late Irrfan Khan, made his way back to Instagram after his family stepped in to clarify that a viral video featuring him had been “widely misinterpreted.” The clip, where Babil voiced his frustrations with the Bollywood industry, ignited quite the discussion among fans and critics.

In the video, Babil was candidly critiquing the industry’s lack of courtesy and mentioned several of his fellow actors, including Siddhant Chaturvedi, Adarsh Gourav, and Ananya Panday. However, his family quickly rallied around him, explaining that the video was taken out of context and that Babil was merely expressing his respect for his colleagues.

Indian action hit Kill is getting a sequel, producer Guneet Monga revealed at Film Bazaar in Goa.

“We’re discussing and there will be a part two,” the Oscar-winning producer told Screen.

Nikhil Nagesh Bhat’s Hindi-language feature premiered at Toronto International Film Festival in 2023 where it was the first runner up for the People’s Choice Midnight Madness Award. It is produced by Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment and Dharma Productions.

“We are discussing with Dharma, and Nikhil will be the director,” said Monga, whose credits also include The Lunchbox and Peddlers. “We have lots of ideas brewing and it is deep in development.

The two films. 49 years apart, are close country cousins. Nothing changes in mainstream Hindi cinema, except the faces, though they continue to express the same range of expressions from A to B. The hero of Udyawar’s scrappily written bonecruncher is remarkably expressionless.

Luckily Siddhant Chaturvedi who plays the titutal bulldozer, has little scope or occasion to act, except in the pre-climax where he presumes his girl is dead.

For the rest Chaturvedi clenches his fists grits his pearlywhite teeth and roars towards the villains with bullish energy.

The much-anticipated trailer for Yudhra, directed by Ravi Udyawar and starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malavika Mohanan, has finally been unveiled, giving audiences a glimpse into an intense and gritty action-thriller. Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who was recently in Locarno for a celebration, has teamed up with his sons Aryan Khan and AbRam as the voice cast of the Hindi-language version of Disney’s upcoming feature film “Mufasa: The Lion.”

The film is directed by Barry Jenkins and tells the story of the unlikely rise of the beloved king of the Pride Lands, while also introducing an orphaned cub called Mufasa, a sympathetic lion named Taka—the heir to a royal bloodline—and their expansive journey alongside an extraordinary group of misfits. The film has original songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda and an English voice cast of Aaron Pierre as Mufasa, Donald Glover as Simba and Braelyn Rankins as Young Mufasa.
