Rolandos Liatsos comes from Cyprus where he started his career at the age of 17 with Shakespeare's play "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and suddenly made his breakthrough starring in Iakovos Kambanellis' masterpiece "Stella with the Red Gloves." After the big success of this play Rolandos moved to Coventry where he starred in "The Tempest" and soon after starred in his opera prima as a director and writer of "Unpublished by Alex." This play catapulted him to Los Angeles, CA to work with Academy Award Winner Milton Justice in the play "Woman in Mind." Soon after he starred in Tennessee Williams' play "The Rose Tattoo", directed by the acclaimed actor and director Yorgos Karamihos. With his extensive theater experience focusing on various styles, including: outdoor theater, experimental, Shakespeare, Physical theater, and Naturalism, he was able to bring to life Arturo Ui, a character based on Adolf Hitler in Bertolt Brecht's play "The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui." In this political satire of the German writer, Rolandos gave his most successful performance yet.
A few of his latest film projects include "Even when I'm Sleeping," "Hills like White Elephant," and "Three Hitmen," While in the U.K. he worked professionally with "The Fabularium" and KILN theater company.
In 2018 Rolandos' career had a turning point after working as an assistant producer for the movie Chinatown the Three Shelters. From that point on, Rolandos expanded his career path in the industry as he became a full time Post Producer at General Population, in Los Angeles. Ever since, he worked on high level global campaigns including features (Venon, Zombieland II) as well as live action production with short form content pieces for clients such as PUBG, Gillette, LA28, Dolby and many more. Overall, over the past 3 years, Rolandos oversaw multiple projects and campaigns, - including the launch campaign for The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures - which included over 100 deliverables of motion assets, 2 experiential installations in the museum, 2 theatrical bumpers, website content, a 6 minute mini documentary for the Ted Mann theater, and a 20 minute fundraiser film that included archival research overseeing 3d and 2d animation teams, color correction, VO sessions and sound mix.
Throughout the years, Rolandos has consistently been devoted to developing himself and broadening his horizons. Based in Los Angeles, California, and with extended experience in the field - both as a producer and an actor - with his training going all the way back to 2007, Rolandos is a young promising artist/producer, who's currently thriving in this demanding business in 2022.
