Back in December 2023, Netflix swooped in and acquired season two of the critically acclaimed Australian drama The Tourist after Max passed on picking up the distribution rights after airing the first season. Season one of the riveting drama followed Jamie Dornan (Belfast) as a man with a sketchy past who suffered from amnesia as the result of a car accident that was meant to kill him. And season two, which premieres on February 29, 2024, finds Dornan reprising his role as Elliot alongside Danielle Macdonald as Helen, the only person he could depend on when he couldn’t remember his own name.
Their relationship grew over the course of the first season, and by the finale, they were more than just friends. Now, in season two, Elliot and Helen will be traveling to Ireland, hoping to find answers about Elliot’s identity. “But instead, they are forced to face the dangerous consequences of his past actions,...

Jamie Dornan as Elliot and girlfriend Helen Chambers (Danielle Macdonald) go to Ireland in search of clues to his identity in the latest season two trailer for The Tourist on Netflix, which dropped on Wednesday.
Still with severe memory loss after a car crash, a disoriented Elliot goes missing in the Emerald Isle after landing in the middle of a long-running family feud involving the McDonnell and Cassidy families to rediscover his roots and the danger of his past life. “What is it that I’ve done that makes me the enemy?” Elliot asks at one point in the trailer (watch in the player, above), a year after the series’ first-season adventures in the Australian Outback and Helen urging him to at long last find out who he really is.
That’s because in the second season, Elliot has yet to recall his name, his profession or why he crashed...

It’s here, the newest Netflix thriller adapted from one of Harlan Coben’s ludicrously twist-packed, secret-filled crime mystery novels. This one comes adapted by Danny Brocklehurst with the same UK team that made The Five, Safe, The Stranger and Stay Close, and once again stars Richard Armitage in a central role.
Fool Me Once is the story of military helicopter pilot Maya Stern, a captain who loses her career in a scandal and suffers two bereavements in short succession. It’s fast-paced, kind of ridiculous viewing that takes you down an extremely twisty path before tying everything up in a big not-exactly-watertight-but-it’ll-do-fine knot – which makes it pretty perfect viewing for a brain-fogged New Year’s Day after all of December’s indulgences.
Find out more about the cast of this one below, and happy binge-watching!

Jamie Dornan is returning for a second season of “The Tourist.”
The series, which was written and created by Jack and Harry Williams, is set to go into production in Dublin, Ireland in April.
“I’m incredibly excited to continue the story with ‘The Tourist,’” said Dornan. “Harry and Jack Williams are brilliant writers, and I can’t wait for audiences to see how well Ireland and its characters are utilised to keep them guessing as the tale progresses…”
In the off-beat thriller with a darkly comedic streak, Dornan (“Belfast”) reprises his role as Elliott, who wakes up one day in an Australian hospital with amnesia following a car crash. Danielle Macdonald (“Dumplin’”) also returns as constable Helen Chambers. In the second season, the duo head to Ireland so that Elliott can rediscover his roots. Soon, however, they get dragged into his past life – with dangerous consequences.
