[If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?] I would love to be able to draw people and animals. I can do buildings, but not living things.

[Setting aside your differences, which one of your political rivals has impressed you most and why?] It took some guts for Ed Miliband to stand up to Murdoch - most leaders wouldn't have done that, and David Cameron stood up to many in his own party on gay marriage.

[What is the best attribute you have as a leader or potential Prime Minister?] Ability to focus on the big issues and not get distracted by the minor, and resilience to keep going when things go wrong.

I have smoked marijuana a few, a handful of times. And I ate a hash cake once. Didn't really agree with me. I did inhale and I had really sore lungs the next morning, which is why I never got into it seriously because I've never smoked tobacco and I found the experience of marijuana just deeply unpleasant.

No [I am not a drug user], I mean, like many people, as a student, I tried smoking marijuana a couple of times. I've never smoked cigarettes, they were really lousy for my lungs. It didn't appeal. No [I am not someone who dabbles].
