Exclusive: Jim Rash is set to direct his script Miss You, Love You, a drama that will star Allison Janney and Andrew Rannells. Madison Wells, The Walsh Company and Nat Faxon will produce a film that will begin production next month in New Mexico. Gigi Pritzker, Kevin Walsh are producing with Rash.
In the film, Janney will play a woman whose husband has passed away. With a funeral to plan and grieving to be done, she reaches out to her estranged son. He refuses to come home, choosing instead to send his personal assistant to help make the arrangements. The widow is forced to process her grief in the presence of a complete stranger.

Madison Wells Live will present a private industry reading of “Locker Room Talk,” a new play by Meghan Kennedy. Directed by Jessie Nelson, the reading will feature Sara Bareilles (“Into the Woods”), Sarita Choudhury (“And Just Like That”), Paige Gilbert (“Late Night”), Donna Murphy (“Passion”), Bonnie Milligan (“Kimberly Akimbo”), Gayle Rankin (“Glow”), Havana Rose Liu (“Bottoms”), Cecily Strong (“SNL”) and Charlotte Surak (“Waitress”).

The reading will take place on Oct. 6 in New York City. It will be directed by Tyne Rafaeli and feature Matilda Lawler, star of Max’s “Station 11.” The ensemble will also include Mia Williamson, Lexi Perkel, Antonio Watson, April Matthis, Mateo Castel, Zak Orth, Stephanie Janssen and Robert Stanton. Exclusive: Entertainment company Madison Wells Live, Lachanze and Taraji P. Henson have joined the producing team of Manhattan Theatre Club’s Jaja’s African Hair Braiding, a world premiere play written by Jocelyn Bioh and directed by Whitney White heading to Broadway this fall.
The partnerships were announced today by Mtc’s Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Chris Jennings (Executive Director).
