EJ Sepp was born in New York City, New York, He is a writer, director and digital producer, known for Saaremaa (aka Homeland) and Parting Gift.
EJ's interest in film grew while studying Journalism and Film at Fordham university where he started taking Screenwriting classes and making short films. After a stint as a Script Assistant for the Apollo Comedy Hour, EJ moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA's Screenwriting program where he penned, "Homeland", now entitled "Saaremaa", a script about his father's experiences in Estonia during World War II. After some success in script competitions, EJ directed a short film, a variation on the opening sequence of the feature script for Saaremaa. He is now in pre-production for a ground-breaking digital production of this film.
Recently he has written an ESL book about New York City and several absurd comic plays for the New York stage while working in the digital industry in New York, where he continues to spend the majority of his time with his wife and young son.
