Many couples from The Bachelor franchise have gone on to live happily ever after. Well, maybe not many. Let’s say a few. Many did not. After leaving Juan Pablo Galavis’ season of The Bachelor, Andi Dorfman went on to become the Bachelorette. It looked as if she was headed toward a bright future with contestant Josh Murray when the two got engaged. Unfortunately, the couple didn’t last.
Since then, Dorfman has been outspoken about her time on the reality show.

The Bachelor is one of the most popular reality TV franchises, with multiple spinoffs including The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise. With the rise of social media, a running conversation among fans is that members of Bachelor Nation only appear on the franchise in order to become influencers. However, some contestants from shows in The Bachelor franchise kept their normal jobs.

Desiree Hartsock chose Chris Siegfried as her winner on her season of The Bachelorette back in 2013.
However, not everyone was as happy as Desiree was when that final rose was given out in the Season 9 finale.
In fact, quite a few Bachelor Nation fans thought she should have chosen Brooks Forester, who was a fan favorite for the entirety of Desiree’s season.
However, Brooks chose to leave, which shocked viewers when it happened; therefore, because she ended up with Chris, Bachelor Nation didn’t waste any time saying that Desiree settled in her choice to pick Chris.
But Desiree was recently quoted talking about her winner, “People thought he was my backup choice and said things like I should have been with this other guy.”

List of Bachelorette couples that are still together. Pic credit: @therachellindsay/Instagram
The Bachelorette has been around for close to a decade.
The premise is the same every season, one woman goes on the Bachelor to find the love of her life. She gets rejected and sometimes cries ugly tears in the limo back to the airport.
Although she didn’t win the Bachelor’s heart, she often wins America’s heart, placing her in the best position to become the next Bachelorette.
Out of heartbreak is born the opportunity to be in control and be the one to hand out the roses. She is then given six weeks to find the man she will marry.
Some people have found lasting love on the show, saying that it’s like going to a love boot camp.
There are no distractions whatsoever and the contestants can truly concentrate on getting to know one another.

The Bachelor franchise certainly likes to bring back past contestants for different seasons and spinoffs, and new Bachelorette Clare Crawley is definitely one of those. Her appearance on The Bacheloretteis actually her fifth time on one of the franchise's shows. Here's a brief recap of Clare's history on all the Bachelor shows to date.
The Bachelor
Clare made her debut in 2014, when she was a contestant on Juan Pablo Galavis's season of The Bachelor. She made a big impression, and, in fact, she made it all the way to the finale, where she and Nikki Ferrell were the last two women competing for Juan Pablo's heart. In the end, though, he didn't choose her as the winner, choosing Nikki instead. Upon learning this news, Clare refused a "comforting" goodbye hug from Juan Pablo, instead calling him out, apparently over something he'd said to her that viewers never got to hear.

A little less than seven years ago, Juan Pablo Galavis made his debut as the Bachelor. He seemed like the ideal choice back when he was announced in 2013. The Venezuelan former football player was 32, had an adorable 4-year-old daughter, possessed abs for days and was a fan favorite from Desiree Hartsock's season of The Bachelorette. Most people seemed to think he was super cute and the perfect successor to Desiree and Sean Lowe, both of whom ended their seasons extremely successfully. Unfortunately, it didn't take long for Juan Pablo to start making people question his Bachelor worthiness. A couple of weeks into the airing of his season, he told a TV news site that while he...

There are a lot of things about this season of The Bachelor that give me pause. Why, for instance, must we continue to be tortured by Colton's Snapchat videos at the start of every episode? Has Colton's skin completely dried out from all the showers he takes? And what do you think that fence is up to now? But aside from all that, another important question lingers: is Colton the most-dumped dude in Bachelor history, or what? After his brutal break-up with Cassie Randolph in the Fantasy Suites episode, we decided to do a tally.
Episode after episode, we've seen the leading man tell the camera and his many contestants that he's looking for a woman who's there for "the right reasons." Maybe it's because of his incessant repetition of this phrase that so many women on season 23 realized they weren't there for the right reasons and decided to leave of their own accord.

During Monday night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, ABC announced that Rachel Lindsay, a 31-year-old lawyer from Dallas, Texas, has been cast as The Bachelorette for season 13. She's technically one of the final four ladies vying for Nick Viall's heart on season 21 of The Bachelor, which is currently airing on the network, but with this announcement, we now know she's not the 36-year-old's final pick (it's down to Corinne, Raven and Vanessa).
Et has learned that production for Rachel's season of The Bachelorette will begin shortly after Nick's finale episode airs on March 13. In anticipation of her historic season, we're breaking down the timeline of how, after years of being slammed for lack of diversity, the network ultimately chose a black male or female to lead...

Whether the response from Bachelor Nation was immediately divided or the star in question eventually took a wrong turn on his or her path to love, Viall follows in the footsteps of some controversial Bachelors and Bachelorettes past.

It's been three years since Desiree Hartsock met and fell in love with her husband, Chris Siegfried on her season of The Bachelorette. And now, the author and mom-to-be is doling out advice for current Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher.
"It can be really stressful to feel like you have to make a connection," says Hartsock, 30, whose wedding planning guide, My Fairytale Wedding, is on stands now. "You can’t put too much pressure on it."
As for the guys? Hartsock, no stranger to villainous types (remember Ben Scott?), definitely didn't get the warm and fuzzies from muscle man Chad Johnson, who was eliminated Monday night.
