It truly is the age-old question I believe all women ask themselves. How do you move on in life after the brutal murder of your husband? The answer is always the same. You go ahead and buy then move into a creepy-as-shit secluded bed and breakfast and welcome the first creepy weirdo that drops by into your life. That’s a thing people do right?
As you may all know by now I am a huge lover and supporter of the lower-budget independent films out there. It tends to yield positive results by way of some unsung gems and truly inspired performances.
Enter, The Stranger. A movie I had heard the odd thing about on the festival circuit. we are seeing a bit of a boom in the horror scene in the UK...

Watch the Teaser Trailer for Karli: "Co-Directors Mike Clarke (A Light Through Coloured Glass) and Paul Gerrard unleash their teaser trailer for their upcoming horror film, Karli – a shocking and terrifying supernatural take on the home invasion genre.
Karli is a new British horror that harkens back to the days of the early 80’s horror. The team has built a film around a truly, soon to be, iconic character and an original concept of terror. Hellraiser and Kill List fans will have plenty to indulge in here.
“Karli is a dark and menacing descent into a grim world unknown, this teaser trailer is just a small snippet of the horrors that await audiences – our antagonist literally unfolds,” Director Mike Clarke.
80’s horror fans and even modern A24 ‘elevated horror’ fans will both enjoy this one – an 80’s horror film produced with the modern sleekness of today’s horror films.

Nicholas Vince has not acted in twenty years due to a combination of things, including the unfortunate passing of his father. Yet he remains in demand with fans at horror conventions today as much as he did decades ago. It is on the strength of two characters, both created on the page by Clive Barker and brought to life by Nicholas Vince - the "Chattering Cenobite" in Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II, and the role of "Kinski" in Nightbreed. Nicholas was in town recently for the Monsterpalooza Convention, and swung by Dark Delicacies to drop off copies of his latest book. Nicholas is a delightful man, with a very evident lust for horror. The following interview was conducted in the car as I drove him from Dark Delicacies to his hotel room prior to his flight back to England. Fearnet: Why did you decide to start writing prose? Nicholas Vince...
