Michael Ray Ryan is an actor singer songwriter known for his wok in short films, singing and songwriting, and live action performance at Seaworld of Texas's Gold Rush Ski Show and Shamu Stadium's lighthouse character guitarist and announcer. He also wrote several several shows for the park, directing children's venue entertainment, performed a sing along stage show and performed the voices of Sir Winston Walrus and Virgil the Pelican for Sea World. The following year Michael went to work for Opriland Park's Six Flags Over Texas performing as acting characters Seymour Nugies and Pejia the the Slobovian Cowboy. During this season he was cast in the George Strait's music video, "Check Yes or No as the lead character. This video was nominated for best video of the year by The Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association as well as the CMT network. He was then cast to play the role of Octavius the Wizard at Ceasar's Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. At contracts end he was cast as, The Talking Head, a magical illusion, as part of the Lance Burton Magic Show at The Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. While there Michael became the Production Manager for the cable series, Cooking with The Stars. After leaving the Monte Carlo Michael became a singer at the Venetian Hotel and Casino and later the Entertainment Manger for contracted entertainment to the casino for Best Models and Talent Agency. Later Michael Ray returned to San Antonio, Texas to teach theater to middle and high school students at Castle Hills Christian School. He has since written and directed several shows and appeared on stage as Herod, Judas Iscariot and appeared in short films, The Cow Flew Over The Moon: The Musical winning Best Film and Best Acting awards at the 48 Hour Film Festival. He has also appeared in The Kissing Game and in a Film Riot contest reenacting the famous Indianapolis battleship speech from The movie Jaws as Robert Shaw's character Quint. He and his film group, Merky Waters Films won second place against over 40 national and international submissions. Michael Ray Ryan continues his acting and songwriting and is preparing a music CD for release in summer of 2017.
