Alex Evans is an Emmy award winning producer of broadcast and digital content, such as long form documentaries covering events, lives and topics such as the 1980 Miracle on Ice -- USA v. Soviet Union -- Olympic hockey game, the life of legendary basketball coach Jim Valvano, substance abuse, and shows covering the World Cup USA Soccer team, and Billy Joel.
In 2017 Evans was a one of the producers for ESPN's Best of Enemies: Celtics/ Lakers series.
In addition to working in the television and film industry, he served as an assistant basketball coach and administrator at St. John's University, where he was on the staff for several NCAA Tournament appearances and Big East championships.
His years as a producer and as a coach has led him to become a global sports marketing consultant for international brand development.
A graduate of New York University (BA Journalism) and St. John's University (MBA Executive Management and Finance), Evans is a lifelong New Yorker who resides in Long Island City with his wife, Adriana.
