Beatrice Aguirre Zúñiga was born in Cali - Colombia.
Graduated in Cali from "Escuela de Bellas Artes" as a Graphic Designer, becoming
photographer later under the tutorship of one of greatest photographers in Cali,
Arley Acosta, attending "Escuela de Fotografía del Valle in 2004". Beginning as a
photographer, she started as an entrepreneur funding her own company;
an image bank with emphasis in Latin-American advertising images.
Since 2008 has worked as a still photographer participating in motion pictures
and TV series, both national and international, such as: El Pais más Feliz del Mundo
(2017); La Vida es un Meme (TV Series 2017); El Caso Watson (2017); Wildlands (2016);
Documentary Now (2016);
Mesa para Camaleones (TV series 2016); El Cartel de la Papa (2015);
Antes del Fuego (2015); Los Hombres También Lloran (TV series 2015); Ciudad
Delirio (2014); The Devils Trick (short, 2012); En Coma (2011); and her most
notorious work at the moment; The 33, a Hollywood movie. Shot in Colombia
and later in Chile along 2014, being portrayed by her lenses big Hollywood
stars like: Antonio Banderas, Julieth Binoche, Rodrigo Santoro, James Brolin,
Gabriel Byrne, Luo Diamond Philips, among others.
She has been invited to make an exhibition of her cinematographic pictures by
"Grupo Latino of Gießen" in Germany (2011); also in "IV Festival Internacional
de Cine de Cali" (2012), besides participating as a speaker in "IV Encierro
Nacional e Internacional de Fotografía" with the lecture "Still Photo in Cinema",
taking place in October 2014. Currently is CEO of her own company, she develops
projects for cinema, advertising and particular teaching.
