Angela Nicole Patmon

Angela Nicole Patmon will be dancing with the Jungle Book directed by
Mary Zimmerman at the Goodman theater this summer. Previous stage
credits include Detroit Opera House's production of Bizet's Pearl
Fishers directed by Andrew Sinclair and the Harris Theater as a soloist
with Deeply Rooted Dance Theater. Ms. Patmon has also graced the stage
with Kristina Isabelle Dance, Eisenhower Dance Ensemble, Hubbard Street
Faculty Showcase, Elements Contemporary Ballet, Joel Hall's DIAL,
Chicago Takes Off, and as a backup dancer for pop-star Peaches. She
earned her BFA cum laude from Ohio University with credit from the
Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Ms. Patmon currently teaches dance
through her company JUMPstart Dance, as well as at Deeply Rooted Dance
Theater, Chicago Multicultural Dance Center, and the Chicago Athletic
Clubs. In addition to her work in the performing arts, she has also
modeled in several fashion shows and photo shoots featuring local
designers. Ms. Patmon's television and film credits include independent
films Life Lessons and My Mother's Idea directed by Maria Finitzo, two
episodes of NBC's Chicago Fire, and feature film Dhoom 3: Back in
Action, to be released on IMAX in December.
